I know that Global Warming is not the first subject this blog is about, but I really think this is very important for our freedom. In UK, as a result of studies that say that manufacturing PCs is a very contaminating activity, the Government is beginning a new project called "Green PC". Basically it is about a Government's huge PC to:
[work] by hosting functions such as office applications, email and internet surfing on data centres rather than on individual computers.
You can read more in the link above. I am worried about the consequences for the respect of Human Rights this can have throughout the world. And about the control the Government can exert on citizens through this measure.
