Great news everyone - we have nothing to worry about from Iran

Iran not seeking to build nuclear weapons: Putin
Isn't that great? Now I can go back to bing upset about Cook vs Archuletta.

Iran is not trying to acquire nuclear weapons but Tehran should avoid "irritating" its neighbours, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said Saturday in an interview with French newspaper Le Monde.

Putin, who was in Paris for two days of meetings with President Nicolas Sarkozy and other French leaders, said there was no indication Iran was building its own nuclear arsenal.

But he admitted that Iran's compliance with investigations by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) was still a "point to be resolved."

Asked if Iran was trying to acquire nuclear weapons, Putin replied: "I don't believe so. Nothing indicates it."

"The Iranians are a proud people," he went on. "They want to enjoy their independence and exercise their legitimate right to civil nuclear power.

NOTHING could make this clearer that Vladimir Putin's comment.

The Russians are on the other side.

The Russian foreign policy is that nothing bad for them can come from a nuclear armed Iran.

They are complete morons.

The complete morons are those who actually believe what Putin APPEARS to be saying.

Gateway Pundit has developing coverage on a story linking Obama's advisor on Iran, Trita Parsi, to the regime in Tehran. All that is holding Iran together is the fanatic devotion of the mullahs and Ahmadinejad to the return of the Mahdi and the victory of Islam. They will happily sacrifice Iran to their dream of destroying the West. All Obama will be doing in his no-precondition talks with the Dwarf is hammering out the deal best suited to the aims of himself and his followers.

Thanks for the tip, RRA. I'm watching a video of Trita Parsi speaking for the Congressional Progressive Caucus right now.

Parsi is intro'd by Rep. Barbara Lee, the only person in the HofR to vote against the initial resolution on the War on Terror.

That's quite an intro for Parsi.

Obama's friend.
