Storm Track Intimidation: Islamic Law Gets Two for One

Now, no woman driver jokes here. But this is too funny.

JEDDAH: Police arrested a 20-year-old woman after the car she was driving in was involved in several accidents. The car belonged to the woman’s male friend, who had asked her to wait in the car while he sat an exam. The youth had left the keys in to keep the air-conditioning on.

Due to her inability to operate the vehicle properly, the young woman crashed the car several times. A member of the public informed the police. She was arrested.

Her male companion fared no better.

Her male friend was also held for being in “khulwa” (a state of seclusion) with the woman. Police were, however, kind enough to allow youngster to sit his exams.
