I've heard attempts to explain away these videos as gung-ho soccer mommy projects or young black men's fraternity rituals. Go back down to Pastorius' post on Camp Obama and then ask yourselves how does the lesson of "doing bad things for the right reasons" get translated from Chicago Alinskyite Community Organization training to some soccer mommy's sweet and clueless little 8-year-old?
The Urban Community Leadership kids bring the point across more directly: this is who is going to be in your face intimidating you into cooperating with President Obama's policies. There is no need to pussyfoot the message to them. But the offspring of the Starbucks brigades can be made just as effective in their own way. Organize them, give them t-shirts and songs to sing, make it all lots of fun. Teach them to remind mommy and daddy to do what Obama expects. Teach them who the Bad People are, the ones who don't want to have "nations all joined as one" and "abundant peace" by, say, sending the Dear Leader over to Iran to make deals with the Mahdi-mad Dwarf that it's OK if he kills all those nasty Jooos in Israel and makes the poor Palestinians happy so nobody will fight any more.
People who infiltrated Moonie meetings and the like to get information and news of loved ones were given one supreme instruction: Don't Fuckin' Cooperate. Don't sing along or chant along, don't get dragged into the love-bombing games. Do everything you can to keep them from hooking into your emotions. But these parents are handing over their kids to the Obama cult on a silver platter. It may come back to haunt some of them later, but it will damn sure come back to haunt us sooner.
The Moshiach has some real believers, doesn't he?
RRA,
I think you should write a post on this.
I am beginning to truly wonder if Obama is the fascist that many claim.
It would be such an irony if America actually became the home of a fascist President, after the past eight years of the whole world telling us our President is a fascist.
Sort of ironic, isn't it? When's the last time you saw a bunch of bitter gun-clingin' religious moms corral their kids into a singalong in praise of the BushHitler?
The Merriam-Webster Dictionary OnLine defines fascism as: a political philosophy, movement, or regime... that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.
I'd call this applicable to Obama with a couple of caveats: the nation being exalted will not be the United States of America but will more closely approach the one imagined in that pledge of support for Black Liberation Theology he took, and it will be expanded to include the World of which he declares himself to be a citizen. I'd say he has a good shot at the rest, though he will have to make some cosmetic changes in the original Alinsky Chicago model in order to appeal to his Starbucks and Whole Foods constituency.
But then, he seems to have learned that already.
