You become what you hate.
Wow, that's wisdom right there. You know who said that? Nietzsche. And, if you ever want to suck at the cancerous teat of philosophical wisdom, just read Nietzsche.
Here's my response to our Dhimmi friend:
You're a dhimmi, and dhimmis will succumb to Islam.
Have fun stoning gays and apostates to death with all your Muslim masters.
Write me after you have cast the first stone, and tell me how you feel about yourself having killed a man for being gay, or for standing up for what he believes in.
I'm sure you will still feel good about yourself, because your identity is all wrapped up in getting along, no matter what the cost.

Pastorius,
I know your upset, and you have good reason to be. But I don't see how your comments will further the anti-Jihad cause. I mean, might your statements just reinforce the way this person already thinks? Besides he's not changing my mind, but If I thought like him, I don't think your argument would either.
There's an old saying - "It's a waste of time arguing with drunks and fools."
I've found that out from my liberal friends. No matter what the facts, you will never ever change them.
Remember what the America First peace group said after the Japs bombed Pearl harbor.
"We didn't talk to them enough."
That might be on our nation's tombstone post Obama.
Here´s for you too, anonymous dhimmi: «You become what you hate».
There! It may be that you turn out to be as well informed as IBA´s contributors.
Anonymous,
Yes, he might become like us.
Or, conversely, if I become the thing I hate, I might become like him?
Jeez, then I would hate myself.
Damien,
I think your point is a valid consideration.
However, I think my point OUGHT to be effective.
I would guess that this guy cares about free speech and gay rights, don't you think?
And yet, he acts as if he doesn't.
I believe it is effective, to some degree, to point that out. It might not actually change the guys mind, but hopefully, he will begin to doubt himself and shut his mouth.
People like him go around infecting people with stupid ideas. The more a given population of people feels willing to express certain ideas, the more likely those ideas are to win out.
So, I am saying the opposite of a guy like that.
Besides, Damien, I think I know who the guy is. And, he claims to be a very intelligent and wise person, but unfortunately for him, he is a fool.
And, deep down, he knows it.
Criticism might bring it to the surface, and then he might grow.
Damien,
I think insulting him is more likely to just make him more convinced that you are a hate monger.
That might be the case with someone other than a troll. But if "Anonymous" keeps sending in the same comment, "Anonymous" is a spamming troll.
I've had some experience with copy-and-paste trolls. That's why I moved my site and installed Haloscan, which allows for banning by IP number. The situation I had to deal with meant doing one of the following: quit blogging, moderate comments all the time, or find a way to rid myself of a vile (and I DO mean VILE). Reasoning with my vile troll had zero effect and only served to make that particular troll even nastier.
Always On Watch,
Do you think if he keeps doing this long enough, we should just ignore him? Its possible that if we just ignore him, he'll stop. For all we know, is it possible he is just posting his "You become what you hate" just to upset us for his own entertainment? I have no idea who is posting that comment over and over again, so I don't know what his motives are. Its even possible he was doing it just to get us to over react. People can be real jerks.
I can see how hatred will drive you to make bad decisions. Hate is an odd word anyway. In order to hate something you first need a reference point. You can't justifiably walk past a stranger and hate that stranger. You can hate the way he smells. But you don't even know him, how can you hate him. You can say you don't think you would like something but that is not hate. Hate is a visceral word, the opposite of love, it takes a lot of energy to hate something or someone for no reason.
I personally hate islam because I love freedom. I hate the concept of allah, because it flies in the face of God's love. All of my hatred of islam is based on the things I love. Love is my reference point for my hatred of islam.
Well, to the extreme 'naive' with his/her 'you become what you hate' bullshit,
lets HOPE YOU BECOME WHAT YOU HATE--IN THAT, YOU BECOME DILIGENT AND SERIOUS ENOUGH TO DO WHAT IT TAKES TO KEEP WHAT YOU HATE FROM TAKING OVER!
Kumbayah dancing round a tree in some orgy of peace glee isn't going to do a Damn thing and it Damn sure isn't going to guarantee any form of PEACE.
The ONLY thing that is going to stop THEOCRACY in its tracks is BRUTAL FORCE. And a HATE of that despotic tyrannical theocracy,
Any oppression that one revolts against there has to be some hate, at least on some level or there wouldn't be ANY revolution,
slaves didn't become free from hunger strikes. Ghandi if, if he had of done his hunger strike under Stalin, would have STARVED, and STalin would have laughed at him.
No, the whole 'oh you'll become what you hate' b.s. is just an attempt to DEFLECT from the true HATRED,
hatred of life, humanity, freedom, FREE WILL, and yes, of faith.
Faith requires just that, faith--not force,
there are different forms of hatred and not all forms of hate are detrimental. I worry more about those that DON'T HATE EVIL, than those that do. I worry more about those that DON'T HATE INJUSTICE, more than those that do.
Thing is, there is a very fine line between hate and love, to Hate, to hate injustice, oppression, misery, takes LOVE, and Che said that actually,
to get to that point where you hate something enough to take action
requires LOVE.
THOSE WITHOUT LOVE
HAVE NO REASON TO HATE--BECAUSE THEY ARE SELFISH AND INDIFFERENT.
and Yes, I Hate, I hate Islamism and other forms of tyrannical 'religious political systems' that set out to mass force humans to be obedient to HARSH AND EXTREME CRUELTIES FOR SOMEONE'S OR SOME GROUP'S 'BENEFIT' AND 'GREED'.
I hate them because I LOVE humanity, I LOVE freedom, I LOVE free will, even IF I don't always love what free will produces,
EVIL FLOURISHES WHEN FREE WILL HAS BEEN VIOLENTLY DESTROYED AND SUBJUGATED,
that is why tyrannies oppress children because children do not have the empowerment or power, to enforce their free will, in other words, they can be overpowered and That is why in theocratic despotic exploitive ideologies and systems there are ALWAYS CHILDREN WHO ARE BRUTALIZED,
because the truth of the matter is, those who profess indifference and acceptance of brutality in this twisted notion of pacifism are the REAL HATERS,
THEY HATE THOSE AROUND THEM BECAUSE THE ONLY 'LOVE' THEY HAVE IS FOR THEMSELVES,
saving their own asses at the expense of others.
So the Next time this individual spews their pacifist bullshit--they should sign it with
by the hateful indifferent one.
It takes hate, hate of evil--to stand up to that evil, and to do that, one must know Love,
love for someone other than just themselves and in fact, in the case of Islamism, love including for self- To willingly submit or cower down to such an extreme hateful brutal ideology which is nothing But hate, death, murder and the lust for those things--Power,
one would have to truly hate themselves.
I'll take hate any day over Indifference and apathy. Hate with a determination that no matter what, one wars against the banality of evil,
because Somewhere in there, there is one who comes to mind, to heart, one or ones [many] whom one loves and wants to see NOT fall under the yoke of bondage to hateful tyrannies.
But in closing, I will say, I hate not just Islamism, but Any ideology that promotes the imbalance of power and justifies exploitation and/or abuse of any kind, no matter What god or ideology its under,
or what dollar bill.
Solidarity,
Natasha
Natasha,
You are angry, there is no denying that.
