The All-Inclusive "Holiday" Display

From the Buffalo News, December 14, 2008:
Islam’s crescent added to town’s holiday display

ARMONK — When they light the town Christmas tree in Armonk today, there will be a Jewish menorah right alongside, as usual. There will also be something new this year — an Islamic crescent and star.

And if there are any local Buddhists or Hindus in town who want to see their symbols as well, the town is welcoming applications.

The holiday display, sponsored by the town of North Castle, which includes the village of Armonk, is among a growing number around the country that include the common symbol for Islam....
Armonk is in Westchester County, New York, and is the location of the IBM's corporate headquarters.

In Illinois we even have an ATHIEST display in the Capital Building, alongside the Nativity scene.

Q: Why wasn't Jesus born in an Islamic country?

A: Because they couldn't find three wise men.

Hi Susan, I am in the same boat. I however do have something to say. I fully appreciate the all inclusiveness
and need but ask where do I send my swastika to be hung on this all inclusive tree. Not only am I a Nazi, I am also an adherent to the old Roman beliefs, you may recall in the ruins of Pompai there where found on the brothels an image of a penis. This was not pornography, but an adherence to the cult of the adoration of Venus, one of my favourite sects. Do tell where I can send this symbol to be displayed.

Ciccio,
Are you talking dirty to Susan? Carry on, mate.

However, I showed Susan to the door, because I didn't appreciate her advances.

If she were offering to show me her tits, that'd be one thing, but trying to sell me car insurance is unacceptable.
