Balls: Iran Wants Dialogue With Europe On Human Rights Issues

From Press TV:

An Iranian official has called for open dialog between Tehran and Europe directed at the promotion of human rights and freedoms.

In a Wednesday meeting with French Human Rights Minister Rama Yade, Secretary of the Human Rights Headquarters of Iran's Judiciary Mohammad-Javad Larijani said Tehran is critical of human rights abuse and suggested that talks be held on the issue.

Washington and its Western allies accuse Iran and several other Muslim states of violating human rights, particularly issues concerning women.

At the UN General Assembly session in late November, Canadian Foreign Minister Lawrence Cannon lobbied for an anti-Iran resolution with the reasoning that Iran does not respect human rights.

In an exclusive Press TV interview last week, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi responded to the Canadian contentions.

"No country in the world can claim to have a perfect record of human rights or no violations of human rights," said Qashqavi, adding that human rights is sacred only when it is not used as a "political tool against some countries".

Our Islamic values require us to respect human rights and we thus believe the situation should improve, Qashqavi continued.

The Islamic Republic has also voiced disapproval over the violation of the rights of religious minorities, especially Muslims, in France and several European countries and condemns US-sanctioned crime in the Middle East.

Iran says Canada has itself amassed a substantial file of human rights violations of its nationals and religious minorities.

Islamic supremacists have a lot of gall. I think it comes from the belief that they have the one religion that must dominate all others, and that anyone who is not a Muslim is a low-life who is destined to burn anyway, so what does it matter what they think or how they feel?

The combination of the disregard for kafirs and the command to aggressively seek to make Islam dominate gives Islamic supremacists a demeanor that is shocking in its level of gall. They just don't care about anything having to do with fairness or "goodwill among men."

The Best thing about this is what I posted some days ago about death penalty on homosexuals. I will translate it into English as I have posted it in Spanish:
Mohammed-Taqi Rahbar, who belongs to the Iranian Parliament's Commission of Justice, stated to ANSA, that "considering Sharia Law and divine Law, in Iran, homosexuality is considered heinous and unnaceptable".
"Foreigners can say what they want, but we will continue by our path, because what we do leads to prevent corruption". He also added that Islamic laws "guarantee all rights".

By the way, Correa, Ecuador's President is now in an official visit to Iran and has been received by Khatami. The latter has "praised the brave South American leaders for resisting all the harrassing powers". Except the ones coming from Russia, China... and Islamism.

Nora,

Many should point out to the American and European left, people who usually support things like gay marriage, how homosexuals are treated in the Islamic world and try to shame them into action.
