Maldives: Human Rights Commissioner attends rally against "Jews"

Here is the letter condemning it :

I strongly condemn the Human Rights Commissioner Ahmed Saleem and Human Rights Ambassador Mohamed “Gogo” Latheef for attending a rally to condemn Israel’s attacks on Gaza.

Many anti-Semitic statements were publicly made at the rally with Saleem and “Gogo” Latheef in attendance.

Most speakers at the rally did not make the required distinction between Jews and the state of Israel. For example there were calls for a ban of all Jewish investments in the Maldives.

Money was also raised at the rally in order to provide financial help to the Palestinians. While it is unclear at this stage whom this money will be handed over to, if the money is handed over to Hamas it will be overtly supportive of a virulently anti-Semitic and genocidal organisation.

Hamas is committed to continuing jihad against "the Jews" until Allah's victory is implemented. The land of Palestine, it affirms, must be cleansed from their impurity and viciousness.

And here are some pictures. And of course, CNN was available

Dhivehi Resistance,

"Peddling intolerance and Islamic Fascism under the guise of human rights." More like, "Peddling intolerance and Islamic Fascism Thinly veiled under the guise of human rights."
