I say this as a challenge to the world.
I am convinced that every person I've ever seen wearing a "Save Darfur" t-shirt does so to make themselves feel better, and not because they actually believe they are going to do anything to help the people of Darfur.
The problem in Darfur, and the Sudan in general, is that the Arab Muslim government is committing a genocide against the black non-Muslims.
This genocide has been going on for 25 years, slowly progressing across the country.
Sending money to Darfur is not going to help. Anyone who thinks it will is either doesn't know what's going on, or they are fooling themselves.
Please, do not wear Save Darfur shirts in my presence anymore. It makes me want to commit genocide against your idiocy.

Saudi oil and dependence on it has a price. "Uganda for Ugandans". Now who said these memorable words?
Idi Amin?
It is my understanding that the jihad against Darfur currently includes genocide against not only all non-muslims but includes genocide against all non-Arab-yet-muslim populations as well.
Andre,
Was I right?
Pastorius-
Sorry, yes. So after killing 300-600,000 people he (and his 8 wifes) get asylum in Saudi Arabia where he dies of cancer having at his disposal the best treatment possible. He must have been someone's hero, I guess. Of course those shouting "genocide" right now in the streets would be embarrassed to revere such a guy, isn't it?
It rather ironic that there seems to be only one country in the area that cares about the Darfurians: Surviving a Genocide; Making a New Life. (Unfortunately, is a very long walk!)
