Meanwhile, if you know of any really good job openings, let me know. I can hook you up with a couple very hardworking kids.
This is something her great-grandfather, grandmother and I always wanted to do, but the opportunity was never there.
Congrats, kid. I raise my glass to you both.
Just don't forget to call home once in awhile. . .

I'm glad your daughter and her fiancee arrived safely. Here's the newest note from Sarah---post it in as many places as you can, just to watch the liberals heads explode.

As governor of Alaska, Palin came out IN FAVOR of end of life counseling. Remember? NOW, she calls them DEATH PANELS and she is against it. She was only the governor for 2 and half years, so this isn´t a long time ago.
Why doesn´t anyone ever say to her, LOOK YOU SAID the exact opposite HERE, and YOUTUBE has you saying the reserves THERE...I dont get it, it´s easy to call, easy to see...there is a record of every lie.
Palin plays her base like a fiddle. I guess anything to keep the donations coming in for TRAVEL & LEGAL. Good deal, she is a paid speaker now, no podium, no political post, a PAID SPEAKER. No hope of blasting off as PREZNIT on her checkered resume nOW,,,but her legal and travel is paid by DONATIONS. Donations to what?P
If she wants to be Ann Coulter DEO, and causes MORE PROBLEMS there than as a VP nominee, then I guess the left shouldn't have been QUITE SO FREAKISHLY GHOULISH in their incredibly elitist and naked hatred of her for appearing and being alive and appealing to many americans
They would have left her as a salmon holding, turkey killing governor relegated to having some life out of the limelight .. instead they got the woman who at the right moment recognized the pivot point not only of the health care wreck, but of the HINGE of the Obama administration's gathering of executive power and large govt to invade every fiber of our lives in the name of social, economic, and environmental justice in self righteous orgasms.
BTW DEO... how about a url for your assertion about Palin and end of life panel support?
Otherwise, it's a wild claim by smear merchants, isn't it?
Lets be clear--end of life counseling is not the same as a rationing board. It is rediculous to say they are the same thing. It seems like I remember Sarah saying end of life counseling between a patient and physician and lawyer is a good thing--it helps prepare for the next phase of a persons life(I agree--I have a living will). But, damn--who wants the government mandating those decisions with a government appointed doctor or lawyer.
And just a question for you DEO, how can there be rationing if there is no mechanism to create the rationing? Enter death panels--or rationing committees, or limiting wasteful spending boards...what ever "nice" term you need to use. In the end though, they are still just death panels. We just aren't that stupid...
Deo, is this what you are talking about?
"Last year, I issued a proclamation for “Healthcare Decisions Day.” [6] The proclamation sought to increase the public’s knowledge about creating living wills and establishing powers of attorney. There was no incentive to choose one option over another. There was certainly no financial incentive for physicians to push anything. In fact, the proclamation explicitly called on medical professionals and lawyers “to volunteer their time and efforts” to provide information to the public.
Comparing the “Healthcare Decisions Day” proclamation to Section 1233 of HR 3200 is ridiculous. The two are like apples and oranges. The attempt to link the two shows how desperate the proponents of nationalized health care are to shift the debate away from the disturbing details of their bill."

well, i haven't been doing TOO bad with calling home. hey, the conversations haven't even started with "dear mom & dad, please send money..." (although finances are grim up here right now... beware of that trip from PA to AK, it'll cost around $3500 or so...)
and one day you will hopefully get to drive at least part of the alaskan highway. i'll just make sure your car is a little touger than my tC :)
haven't heard much about palin since i've been here... which is a nice change from all the smartass palin comments i got whenever i told people i was coming here.
