All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.
I don't think this is going to destroy the reputation of Science in general (although it may add fuel to the fire of those who wish to deny evolution).
Think about this, Epa. For the past few years, Climatology has been masquerading as some sort of primary science. Time after time I have seen stories where groups of scientists have gotten together and collectively stated that they do not believe the data that the pro-AGW people have put out. And the response from the Climatologists has consistently been, "Well, most of those scientists aren't Climatologists, so what do they know?"
In fact, a few times, pro-AGW scientists have objected to the fact that the person was a Meteorologist, not a Climatologist.
BUT CLIMATOLOGY IS A BRANCH OF METEOROLOGY
AND BOTH ARE BRANCHES OF PHYSICS AND CHEMISTRY.
Climatology is a subsidiary science. It is beholden to the laws of Physics and Chemistry.
Therefore, if anyone ought to be doing the peer review it is the adults in Meteorology, Chemistry and Science.
