All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.
I gotta start paying more attention to Mahler. Somehow I got it into my head that "all his stuff sounds alike" despite the fact that every time I hear something from one of the symphonies it's always as spectacular as this.
And may I say Barenboim is my idea of what a conductor should look like while conducting such a piece.
