Doctors, medicine, fuel, field hospitals, that's what the United States should send," Chavez said on his weekly television show. "They are occupying Haiti undercover."
"On top of that, you don't see them in the streets. Are they picking up bodies? ... Are they looking for the injured? You don't see them. I haven't seen them. Where are they?

What on Earth is he talking about. Does he just want to talk trash about America or does he believe his own stupidity?
Yes, it should be clear we want one of the poorest spots on the globe, rife with corruption and violent crime as a way of life, bereft of any resource or geographical military, political, or economic advantage, because we just WANT IT.
This is the worst situation of all for Chavez. We are there because if we are who we say we are WE HAVE TO BE, because enlightened self interest says without doubt our conscience dictates we deliver all the help we can during the acute phase.
Of course, this is Haiti's chance to level the joint and START OVER. I hope they take it.
