Also in his speech, Mexican president Felipe Calderon stated:
We can do so if we create a safer border, a border that will unite us instead of dividing us, uniting our people. Here is an explicit statement by the leader of the hostile foreign power to erase American sovereignty and law making authority that was cheered by the Democrats and their president. I for one, have no desire to be "united" with the Mexican people as "one neck for one leash." No doubt this "union" with Mexico would require shredding what's left of the Constitution, such as the Second Amendment and the concept of limited government whose purpose is to defend individual rights. This is yet another example of the consequences of the unexamined, smarmy altruism that is the core of Progressivism.
As Ozero said Wednesday morning, "I say to you and to the Mexican people: Let us stand together." Of course, it would be expecting too much that the Democrats and their traitor-in-chief would stand with the American people and by American law.

So what does one do when the government itself is guilty of sedition?
This is why I'm a little wary of arguments to the effect that the Dems won't go along with the some of the more extreme projections of the Obutthead Administration's policies, because most of them seem incapable of realizing that they have wandered out onto the quicksand before it is too late.
If they will support Mexico against the state of Arizona, what the hell can be expected of them when it comes to Israel?
