And reading this review, it may be just the beginning of the problems:
Bruce reveals that he's aware of some bizarre assassinations taking place in Paris, and he wants to help. Still dubious, the cop shows Bruce a letter giving clues to the next murder, and Bruce deducts that a Muslim diplomat was the target of the assassin.Really? Not a cartoonist like Kurt Westergaard or Lars Vilks?
Also, it's funny how someone who recruited an indigenous Japanese combatant for his operation can't do the same in France. Surely Saint-Flour in Brittany might have a couple of brave folks who could step up to plate? Now that this has happened, one can only wonder if Bruce Wayne will go next to the Gaza Strip and recruit a Muslim who thinks him/herself oppressed not by the Hamas, but by the Israelis, and even to Sweden, where he'll recruit a Muslim living in Malmö, which has long had troubles of its own with suburban jihadists.
When this was brought up on the Dixonverse forum, someone asked:
Does he bring justice to the Parisian streets by lighting dozens of evil automobiles on fire every night? Here's an even more intriguing question: Does he condone or blandly tolerate some of the most horrifying verses in the Koran/Hadith like Sura 8:12? Or, more precisely, does the writer?
Thank goodness the JLA/99 special was a fiasco. We can only hope the same will be for this pretentious story. It certainly puts the lie to the whole notion that DC is "conservative". And it tells that they are really going downhill. I'm guessing that the writer, David Hine, is taking out his leftist anger on France for finally taking steps to fight back against creeping shariah and Islamic supremacism, by banning the niqab for starters.
Update: Bosch Fawstin had a special response to this kowtowing on News Real Blog a few months earlier.

Avi Green,
Well, in all fairness some Muslims have been victims, like any other group of people and Muslim does not equal jihadist. I just wish they would stop being so politically correct and portray Muslims as the bad guys every once and awhile. Is that too much to ask?
By the way, I read somewhere that the 99 will be getting their own children's cartoon. Hopefully that will fail as well. I don't even want to watch the Hub, because that's the station its going to be airing on.
Great post.
It's getting so I have no intellectual response to our increasing dhimmification. Instead, my only response is a cold, murderous anger.
Frankly, I hate dhimmis more than I hate Jihadists.
At least the Jihadists are acting rationally according to their world view.
Dhimmis are making an ideology out of fear, subservience, and grovelling.
You can not get more pathetic than that.
We should be seeing Bosch Fawstin's work prominently featured -- not this submissive dhimmi junk. Damien, I understand your point but this is splitting hairs. What would have been the reaction to comic books in the 1930s where the heroes and victims were Nazis? This is the same damn thing. The media whores producing this stuff are equal to someone propagandizing American children to sympathize with Nazis. There is no essential difference.
At least in the '30s most people in this county had enough moral sense to recognize that Nazis were savage mass murderers and Japan was the reigning Evil Empire. But the popular culture is now so thoroughly corrupted that any time someone manages to slip an anti-Jihad work past the PC/MC dhimmi wannabe censors it's a major victory.
And Pastorius makes an essential point: Jihadists are evil, but at least they are consistent with their stated beliefs. Dhimmis are cowards and evaders with no moral compass whatever.
Hi Revereridesagain.
I agree it's pure Nazi style propaganda come to think of it,the Obama administration is giving grants to Artists, have to look for the article, but it wouldn't surprise me these "Artists" receive grants from there.
"Sometime between when I finished the critique and when it went live online, I was invited by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to take part in a conference call that invited a group of rising artist and art community luminaries “to help lay a new foundation for growth, focusing on core areas of the recovery agenda – health care, energy and environment, safety and security, education, community renewal.”

Well, I've long run out of patience with people who think the Muslims hate us because of Israel so hey, there's nothing to worry about, just get rid of Israel, right? Or establish a "two-state-solution" and everything will be tickety-boo and little fluffy bunnies, right? And what about those poor starving Gazan refugees, right? Islam means Peace, man. US Out of Iraq, man! Afghanistan is 'Nam, man! (It is, but not the way they mean.)
I'm also sick of people who are too damn busy to think about this or to take the trouble to learn what is really going on. Yes, there's a million other things I'd like to be doing instead. But I have to devote time to this crap instead because the last bozo I talked to about this hasn't the time to spare from his sports-card collecting to think about it.
Revere Rides Again,
I understand how you feel, and I agree with you.
Hi Guys.
Found two more links on the NEA and Obama they seem to be some sort of propaganda tool for Obi one.
The NEA's partisan work for Obama:

Obama uses NEA to Push his Agenda – National Endowment for the Arts = Obama’s Propaganda Machine

Reich Minister Goebbels would be drooling.
