Newt Gingrich’s first stop in Iowa since announcing his presidential bid wasn’t so smooth, if this Fox News footage is any indication.
IOWAN: What you just did to Paul Ryan is unforgivable.
GINGRICH: I didn’t do anything to Paul Ryan.
IOWAN: Yes, you did. You undercut him…. you’re an embarrassment to our party.
GINGRICH: I’m sorry you feel that way.
IOWAN: Why don’t you get out before you make a bigger fool of yourself?

Newt handled it as well as he could. He made a mistake in calling out Paul Ryan; it served no constructive purpose. He should apologize to Rep. Ryan and continue on with his campaign because, whether he wins the nomination or not, no one can convey the conservative message like Newt.
I am personally SHOCKED, disgusted, and very disappointed.
How can ANYONE claim to be a conservative and then back a govt mandatory purchase program.
HE BLEW IT COMPLETELY.
