American Islamic Group Supports Ban On "Foreign Law" Which Includes Sharia
Take that CAIR/ACLU:
....In a separate debate, the American Islamic Leadership Conference (AILC) recently announced support for a Michigan bill (HB 4679) that would prevent state judges from utilizing foreign laws. This, to the surprise of some, would include Sharia law. What is Abraham Hooper going to do now? How is he going to accuse Muslims of being Islamophobic? Is he going to accuse them of being Uncle Toms? It will be interesting to see CAIR's official response to this, if there's any reaction at all. Isn't this like the third Muslim group in America that I've heard of that has come out against sharia?
Actually its the third or fourth Islamic group that has done so that, I know of.
We may have posted on these other ones.

One of them maybe the group, Muslims Against Sharia.
That was the first one that I heard about, and I think you may have actually posted one or two things about them a long time ago.

Ironically you posted it at the end of another story you posted over here at the IBA about the New York Times coming out in support of sharia.
CAIR is hysterical. They are claiming that adhering ONLY to american law (i.e. really, the Constitution) violates the Constitution?
Not allowing Sharia to be considered violates the Constitution?

Are they really? I would love to see their convoluted arguments.
Just out of curiosity, I just checked out CAIR's website. Not surprisingly, they are not even mentioning this. They know that having Muslims speak out against the use of sharia in our legal system doesn't make them look good, since it goes against their lie that only ones concerned with the issue are irrational bigots.
Admitting this will not help them, and I think they know it.
