Glenn Beck: "Three paths to God"

Islam included, I guess:

From this commentary:
...So what then is the truth concerning Islam, Judaism, and Christianity? Considering that truth cannot contradict truth we would have to say they are not worshiping the same God and they are not all three on a path to that God....

Beck's theology is bad. All three faiths--Judaism, Christianity, and Islam--do not lead to God and they do not all lead to Jerusalem. Mecca is Islam's "holy city." To Islam, Jerusalem is just a plot of land that used to be Muslim-controlled and therefore must be fought over and retaken. Jerusalem was in shambles until the Jews retook it during the Six-Day War in 1967.

With respect to God, the nature and character of the god of the Bible is so different from the nature and character of Allah that no sane person would think they are the same being. The God of the Bible chose the Jews and chose Jerusalem; and later, when the time was right, He took on flesh and died to make provision for our sin. Allah chose Mecca and hates Jews and Christians. They are different beings, the Bible's God and Allah.

Agreed. I don't know how Beck arrives at this, he's pretty astute about a lot of other things that pertain to islam- The Muslim Brotherhood, the caliphate, etc.

Beck is probably just trying to not get killed, so he lumps islam in w/real religions.
