Two Bombs Found At Denver Area Shopping Mall

We'll probably never hear anything more about this, but might as well report it anyway:

DENVER (Reuters) – Two bombs were found inside a Borders Bookstore in a suburban Denver shopping mall overnight, the FBI said on Saturday.

Police were summoned to the Colorado Mills Mall in Lakewood early on Saturday after a store alarm sounded, the FBI said in a news release.

Police discovered evidence of forced entry and found two explosive devices.

The Jefferson County Bomb Squad responded to the scene, but the FBI did not say if the devices detonated.
"No injuries were reported and no threats have been communicated to Borders or the Mall," the FBI release said.

Islam, Muslims, the Burqa, and Cancer

From Muslim Media Network:
Something pretty important has come to my attention that probably should be discussed among Muslims. The sun. Admittedly, the sun is pretty central in our existence in this world. It has been found that most Americans are deficient in Vitamin D, which is obtained in its natural form from sunshine. Medical science has found that people who are deficient in Vitamin D are more likely to become ill – in the long run, with cancer. In a way, humans are like plants. We will wilt, wither away, and eventually die without attention to certain physical things like adequate sunshine, water, exercise and of course nutrition.

The Muslim community has been very strict and frowning upon those who drink alcohol or smoke. But many public functions feature soda in  place of water. After low levels of sunshine, a high level of sugar in the blood is the second top cause of cancer. Soda in fact actually dehydrates you as it contains salt (sodium). Drinking soda is like drinking sea water in terms of how it replenishes you. It does not.

But getting back to the sunshine issue, how can Muslim women who wear hijab prevent themselves from wilting away from lack of Vitamin D? Fair women need to apply sunscreen to their faces to prevent redness, moles and brown blotches. Some husbands are so “sensitive,” they won’t even let their wives go out wearing sandals. It may be necessary for Islamic scholars to convene to discuss this issue that is causing widespread death in our community, which is the lack of sunshine, whether it’s because of too much computer use or because of women having nowhere to go outside in privacy.

Foreign Policy:

Exclusive: Top U.S. admiral admits we are trying to kill Qaddafi

The top U.S. admiral involved in the Libya war admitted to a U.S. congressman that NATO forces are trying to kill Libyan leader Muammar al-Qaddafi. The same admiral also said he anticipated the need for ground troops in Libya after Qaddafi falls, according to the lawmaker.

House Armed Services Committee member Mike Turner (R-OH) told The Cable that U.S. Admiral Samuel Locklear, commander of the NATO Joint Operations Command in Naples, Italy, told him last month that NATO forces are actively targeting and trying to kill Qaddafi, despite the fact that the Obama administration continues to insist that "regime change" is not the goal and is not authorized by the U.N. mandate authorizing the war.

"The U.N. authorization had three components: blockade, no fly zone, and civil protection. And Admiral Locklear explained that the scope of civil protection was being interpreted to permit the removal of the chain of command of Qaddafi's military, which includes Qaddafi," Turner said. "He said that currently is the mission as NATO has defined."

"I believed that we were [targeting Qaddafi] but that confirmed it," Turner said. "I believe the scope that NATO is pursuing is beyond what is contemplated in civil protection, so they're exceeding the mission."

Later in the same briefing, Turner said, Locklear maintained that the NATO mission does not include regime change. "Well, certainly if you remove Qaddafi it will affect regime change," Turner said that he replied. "[Locklear] did not have an answer to that."

Locklear also said that, upon Qaddafi's removal, ground troops would be needed during the immediate period of instability, Turner said. In fact, Locklear said publicly that a "small force" might be necessary following the collapse of the Qaddafi regime in a May 30 conference in Varna, Bulgaria.

Turner joined hundreds of other lawmakers in voting against authorizing the Libya war on Friday morning. The authorization resolution was defeated 123 to 297. A subsequent vote on a bill to defund the Libya mission also failed 180-238 .

Turner has been opposed to the Libya war from the start and even introduced a resolution opposing the effort. For him, Friday's chaotic Libya debate was a direct result of the administration's neglect and disrespect of Congress throughout the debate over the mission.

"The president hasn't come to Congress and said any of this, and yet Admiral Locklear is pursuing the targeting of Qaddafi's regime, Qaddafi himself, and contemplating ground troops following Qaddafi's removal," Turner said. "They're not being straightforward with Congress... It's outrageous."

Ignoring Congress allowed the administration to ignore the large, looming questions about the Libya war that congressmen are asking -- especially today, as another vote to defund the mission looms before the House next month, when the defense appropriations bill is set to be debated. But if the House does vote to defund the mission, Turner said, Obama will have nobody to blame but himself.

"I believe that this administration has handled this so badly, that if they had come to Congress, I think they would have done more of their homework. They have not done a full assessment of their mission, its scope, or the consequences if they're successful. Congress would have required that," Turner said. "Now it's a little late."

The Blaze:

‘The United States of Islam’: Muslim Brotherhood Spokesman Calls on Arab Youth to Launch a New Revolution in the West & Establish a Global Islamic State

(The Middle East Media Research Institute) reports that in an “interview with the Egyptian daily Al-Shorouq, Dr. Kamal Al-Helbawy, former Muslim Brotherhood spokesman in the West, called upon the Arab youth to launch a new revolution that would eliminate the borders drawn by imperialist nations and bring about the establishment of a global Islamic state – called ‘The United States of Islam.’ According to Al-Helbawy, the Muslim Brotherhood is active in approximately 80 countries and strives to realize the dream of becoming a global organization.”

Interview excerpt:

“The Muslim Brotherhood is organized in 80 countries, and they and the Islamists have a right to establish a global movement, much like global socialism or Zionism…”

“Why Shouldn‘t We Have A Country Called ’The United States Of Islam’… I Propose That the Arab Peoples… Take To the Streets With the Slogan ‘The Arab People Wants To Remove the Borders [Between Its Countries]‘

“Q: Regarding the global organization – will a Muslim Brotherhood member associate himself with the [global] movement or with his homeland? And what will happen should there be a contradiction between them?”

“A: There will be no contradictions. Our thinking and our affiliation are to the exalted Allah. Our affiliation is to Islam. The global state of Islam is our ideal…

“How will countries like Bahrain or Qatar defend themselves? Why shouldn‘t we have a country called ’The United States of Islam,’ ruled by a white man or a black man…

“I propose that the Arab peoples who demonstrated for the sake of the revolution, so they could move from the stage of oppression and corruption to the stage of stability and security, organize themselves from now on and set a deadline – five or 10 years – [and] take to the streets with the slogan ‘The Arab People Wants to Remove the Borders [Between Its Countries]‘… These borders were drawn up by imperialist nations, making our rulers guardians of imperialist borders…

“I wish to say something important: Because the Muslim Brotherhood does not have an international organization with authority… the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria made a pact with [then-Syrian vice president] ‘Abd Al-Halim Khaddam, and the Muslim Brotherhood in Iraq objected to the movement’s general direction. The idea of an international organization now needs to be transformed from a dream into a reality. While it is not part of the Muslim Brotherhood’s plan to come to power – they will be soldiers under any suitable regime that will be established.”

“If Ibn Taymiyya Were Among Us – What Would He Think Of Ahmadinejad’s Stance Against Israel While Arab Rulers Protect Israeli Embassies?

“Q: How would you explain the actions of some of the Salafis [that contradict this]?”

“A: The actions taken by some of the Salafis are unbefitting of Muslims. The Salafis in Egypt are not one group, but [divided] into different schools…

“I say to our Salafi brothers: Why do you focus only on [external] appearance, on the beard, the miswak [tooth-cleaning stick noted in Islamic jurisprudence], and the jilbab [religious garment]? There are many things far more important to Muslim society – chiefly a military industry, which is a means and a tool of jihad, as Ibn Taymiyya said…

“If Ibn Taymiyya were among us, what would he think of [Iranian President Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad’s stance against Israel, while Arab rulers protect Israeli embassies and applaud the symbols of the Zionist entity?”

Time: Does It Still Matter?

The latest cover of Time Magazine tells you all you need to know about the agenda of the left-wing media establishment that installed Barack Hussein Obama in power so that he could oversee the "fundamental transformation" of America:
To ask a question like this is to give the answer, which is: not to our moonbat rulers it doesn't.
The July 4 cover date is reminiscent of the "Is God a Fairy Tale?" covers we see around Easter.

Egypt: Christian Girls Kidnapped and ‘Sold’ By Muslims

From Raymond Ibrahim:
Two teenage Coptic girls, cousins, were recently kidnapped and then “sold” in Minya, Egypt—the same region where a Coptic church was recently attacked and desecrated. I tried to find this story in English-language media and, as expected, found nothing, except for one report in Al-Masry Al-Youm titled “Clashes between police and Coptic protesters in Minya”—as if that’s the important story (as usual, the media prefers headlines portraying harried Christian minorities as equally culpable as their Muslim persecutors, thereby justifying use of the preferred phrase, “sectarian strife“).

At the end of the Al-Masry Al-Youm report, we get a trailing sentence alluding to “claims” that two Christian girls “were abducted by Muslims and forced to convert to Islam” as the reason why Copts were demonstrating and clashing with the police in the first place.

One must again turn to Arabic sources for the telling details. I have put together the following narrative and quotes based on these two Arabic reports:

The two girls, Christine Azat (aged 16) and Nancy Magdi (aged 14) were on their way to church Sunday, June 12, when they were seized. Their abductors demanded $200,000 Egyptian pounds for their release. The people of the region quickly put their savings together and came up with the ransom money; but when they tried to give it to the kidnappers, they rejected it, saying they had already “sold” the girls off to another group which requires $12 million Egyptian pounds to return them.

Islam equals micromanagement of every part of one's life

Another pertinent reminder that Islam does not recognize privacy, or one's personal freedom, or free will. "Fatwa Council to decide on Halal Beer", from The Star, 25 June 2011:

KUALA LUMPUR: The National Fatwa Council is to decide on whether a beer branded as halal being sold in the country is permissible.

Principal assistant director of the dakwah division of the Islamic Development Department (Jakim), Mat Ali Sarbini, said the beer "is regarded as illicit until and unless the council rules otherwise."

He said samples of the beer were being analysed at a university laboratory.

University laboratory, heh. Not only is your freedom taken away, but government resources are wasted on ridiculous and wasteful things like testing beer in a lab. I suppose the Malaysian government chemists and lab techs have nothing better to do. Islam wages jihad -- both peaceful and otherwise -- until it becomes the government.

Islam, by presenting rules ad nauseum on every conceivable aspect of life, renders all people as children, legal minors, or as permanent wards of the all-encompassing state. Or did Obama leave that part out of his Cairo "I love Islam" Speech?

What The Obama Administration Won’t Tell You About Solar Power

From Will at The Other News:
On Friday, Secretary of the Interior Salazar praised a new solar project in California, expected to be the largest in the world, as a major milestone in fulfilling President Obama’s promise to expand renewable energy. The first phase of the project, to be completed in 2013, is being supported by a U.S. Department of Energy $2.1 billion loan guarantee. The 1,000-megawatt Blythe Solar Power Project in Riverside County, California claims to be able to power between 300,000 and 750,000 homes and create 1,000 temporary jobs and about 200 permanent jobs.

The truth is that solar power alone will dependably serve very few homes because it is too unreliable but will cost up to 5 times as much as the cheapest form of electrical generation.

Delta Says They Have No Agreement To Fly To Saudi Arabia - Screenshot From Saudi Arabia's Website Declaring "No Jews Allowed"

From NRO:
Delta Air Lines does not discriminate nor do we condone discrimination against any of our customers in regards to age, race, nationality, religion, or gender.

Delta does not operate service to Saudi Arabia and does not codeshare with any airline that serves that country. Delta does not intend to codeshare or share reciprocal benefits, such as frequent flier benefits, with Saudi Arabian Airlines, which we have confirmed with SkyTeam, an Amsterdam-based 14-member global airline alliance.

Delta’s only agreement with Saudi Arabian Airlines is a standard industry interline agreement, which allows passengers to book tickets on multiple carriers, similar to the standard interline agreements American Airlines, US Airways and Alaska Airlines have with Saudi Arabian Airlines.

All of the three global airline alliances – Star, which includes United Airlines; oneworld, which includes American Airlines, and SkyTeam, which includes Delta – have members that fly to Saudi Arabia and are subject to that country’s rules governing entry.

But, the fact remains, until about five years ago, the "Kingdom" of Saudi Arabia proudly proclaimed, on their official website, that "Jewish People" were not allowed in their country. Here's a screen shot:

I believe this is still the law in Saudi Arabia, though it is no longer explicitly declared on the nation's website.

Feds: Converts to Islam Planned Ft. Hood-Style Assault in Seattle

Two men who converted to Islam have been arrested and charged by federal authorities with plotting a Ft. Hood-style assault on a Seattle military installation in which they could kill military personnel and then either escape or die as "martyrs."

Abu Khalid Abdul-Latif, born Joseph Anthony Davis, and Walli Mujahidh, born Frederick Domingue Jr., are accused of planning to attack the Military Entrance Processing Station in Seattle with grenades and machine guns on July 5. Abdul-Latif, 33, and Mujahidh, 32, allegedly purchased machine guns from undercover agents to use in the assault. Their alleged objective was to deter further American military action in Islamic countries.

The defendants allegedly planned to attack Joint Base Lewis-McChord, a sprawling Army and Air Force installation south of Seattle that houses almost 20,000 military personnel and family members, but then changed targets. The Military Entrance Processing Station on East Marginal Way in Seattle is where enlistees report.

Abdul-Latif referred admiringly to the 2009 Fort Hood massacre, according to a confidential informant who is quoted in the criminal complaint filed Thursday. Abdul-Latif allegedly said that "if one person could kill so many people, three attackers could kill many more" and that if he was killed in his own attack, his son would be proud he had fought the "non-believers."

Abdul-Latif allegedly told Mujahidh that his role would be driving a "truck that looks like the Titanic" through the "front gate" of the target location, and that he wanted to use fragmentation grenades in the facility's cafeteria because they would deter pursuers while also killing and maiming. He also allegedly said that he hoped his attack would inspire others. "Imagine how many young Muslims, if we're successful, will try to hit these kinds of centers. Imagine how fearful America will be."

According to the confidential source, Abdul Latif ultimately gave him $800 for two automatic weapons, and then discussed getting pistols as well. "If we gonna die," Abdul-Latif allegedly said, "we gotta die taking some kafifirs with us. I'm not trying to run out of ammunition."

According to the criminal complaint, Mujahidh traveled to Seattle by bus from Los Angeles, arriving on June 21. He allegedly told the informant that he had told a couple of "brothers" in L.A. that he was going on jihad, and gave his motive for the attack. "This is my way of getting rid of sins. ... I got so many of 'em." He described an imaginary headline on a newspaper after he, the informant and Abdul-Latif carried out the attack: "Three Muslim Males Walk Into MEPS Building, Seattle, Washington, And Gun Down Everybody."

"That's what it's going to come down to," Mujahidh allegedly said, "because if they surround the building, the only way out is through them ... and guns blazing man, guns blazing. ... We're not walking out of there alive."

"We're not only tryingto kill people," the complaint quotes Abdul-Latif as saying, "We're tying to send a message. We're trying to get something that's gonna be on CNN and all over the world."

Both Abdul-Latif and Mujahidh were arrested Wednesday evening at a Seattle warehouse when they allegedly went to pick up the weapons they had purchased.

According to officials, both men were monitored and their weapons rendered inoperable so that they posed no danger to the public.

FBI: Mujahidh Said He Wanted to Die a Martyr
According to the complaint, Mujahidh admitted to FBI agents that he had planned to carry out the attack, and said he wanted to die a martyr. He allegedly said the purpose of the attack was to kill U.S. military personnel so they could not be deployed to Islamic lands.

"The complaint alleges these men intended to carry out a deadly attack against our military where they should be most safe, here at home," said United States Attorney Jenny A. Durkan. "This is a sobering reminder of our need to be vigilant and that our first line of defense is the people who live in our community. We were able to disrupt the plot because someone stepped forward and reported it to authorities. I commend the joint efforts of the FBI, the Seattle Police Department, and the Joint Terrorism Task Force who quickly recognized the seriousness of the threat and ensured the safety of the community."

According to officials, both suspects were believed to have met in prison and to have converted to Islam in prison. Court documents, however, show no record of felony convictions for Mujahihd and do not specify where the men met or when they converted.

Officials say Abdul-Latif served briefly in the U.S. Navy in 1995 and has at least two felony convictions: robbery in the first degree in 2002 and assault a year later while serving time in Washington state for the robbery.

'Geithner: Taxes on ‘Small Business’ Must Rise So Government Doesn’t ‘Shrink’

They live on another planet.

They fear what we need. They dread what we must have.

The political classes are IDENTICAL IN NATURE TO F SCOTT FITZGERALD’S VIEW OF THE RICH IN THE 20’S: "The rich are different from you and me"

The people who start small businesses are trying to swim the English Channel with a 50 lb weight on their back, Geithner comes along with a speedboat and demands we carry a few extra gallons of gas so he can go further.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner told the House Small Business Committee on Wednesday that the Obama administration believes taxes on small business must increase so the administration does not have to “shrink the overall size of government programs.”

The administration’s plan to raise the tax rate on small businesses is part of its plan to raise taxes on all Americans who make more than $250,000 per year—including businesses that file taxes the same way individuals and families do.

Allow me to introduce to you the winner of the war on terror

Yes, that’s right… the no bull, nation manipulating, protector of gintsu wielding, head sawing freakazoids, inventor of the Taliban, Chinese leaning, nuke building, jew hating, behind the scenes controller of the events is Pakistan, Afghanistan and beyond. They believe in consistent behavior.

General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, NI(M), HI (Urdu: اشفاق پرویز کیانی , born April 1952) is a four star general in the Pakistan Army, and the currentChief of Army Staff of the Pakistan Army. He replaced General Pervez Musharraf as the Chief of Army Staff and the commandant of the army on November 29, 2007. General Kayani is the former Director General of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), and Director General of Military Operations (MO). On 24 July 2010, prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani extended General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani’s term as Chief of the Army Staff by three years, making him the first Pakistani four star general to receive a term extension from any democratic government. In 2008,Newsweek named him the 20th most powerful person in the world

Lieutenant-General Ahmad Shuja Pasha (Urdu: احمد شجاع پاشا), HI(M) (born 18 March 1952) is the current Director-General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Pakistan’s premier intelligence service since October 2008.[1] He was due to reach the age of superannuation on 18 March 2010, but has got an extension for one more year.[2] He was recently named as one of the 100 most influential people by Time Magazine

The newly elected civilian government of Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani tried for two months to gain control of the appointment for the director of the ISI as well as place the agency under the administrative, financial, and operational control of the Interior Ministry.[6] However, the attempt failed when Chief of Army Staff, General Kayani appointed Pasha on September 29, 2008.[1][7] Pasha’s prior post was responsible for planning operations against Taliban and al-Qaeda militants in the FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces of Pakistan, signaling a reorientation from the ISI’s traditional Kashmir/India focus

The ISI are Corleone’s with a nation.

Anyone believe that the new ISI head is there to GET the Taliban and Al Qaeda with that background?

He is THE HEAD INFORMER under the CHIEF OF STAFF OF THE ARMY to ensure the Taliban are gone as the Reaper’s circle overhead. The war is WIRED FROM END TO END in Pakistan.

If the govt of Pakistan was serious about being an ally these guys would be ROOM TEMPERATURE, or retired IN ANOTHER NATION IN EXILE.

It’s totally wired.

Thus every step of our strategy is completely flawed. From 2001 onwards.

Zia ul Haq wins the long game from his grave. The same Zia who blithely asked Barbara Walters why she was so sure that democracy, and the republics were the final development in the government of men.

1989 Saudi Investment in helping Afghanistan develop:

President General Mohammad Zia Ul Haq in Kabul

One of these days we are going to be compelled to vaporize some geography to demonstrate we wish to survive as a society, and civilization. I don’t want to see it. But, finally, we will be left no choice in this matter. We will not be left alone to HAVE a choice. Neither a govt of apologia, nor a govt dedicated to ‘counter insurgency’ will succeed against these forces. A war of ten years has not ended this because those people just don’t care for Washington, Franklin, Jefferson and Madison.

A war of ten years has not ended this

And no more kids will be molested trying to fly to Disneyworld.

This is an ugly post.

I am SORRY to be compelled to make it.
