EU: movement of money, people can be limited

From AP:
BRUSSELS (AP) — European officials are working on range of contingency scenarios covering action that could be to control the movement of people and money in the event of Greece abandoning the euro currency, a European Union spokesman admitted Tuesday.

Olivier Bailly spokesman said Tuesday that, legally, limits could be imposed on movement of people and money across national borders within the EU if it's necessary to protect public order or public security.

"Some people are working on scenarios," he said, adding that the European Commission, the EU's executive branch, was giving legal advice to those who requested it.
Trends, whims, fashions, and fads change with the wind and the weather. But cultures change only very slowly, over large amounts of time.

Europe reverts to Fascism whenever it feels threatened.

And France and Germany are always leading the way.

Funny, I was always told that one of the benefits of the EU to the people was free movement of their people/money...now it turns out restricting it is necessary to save the EU. Guess it's one of those destroy-the-village-in-order-to-save-it type of deals.

Just keep voting for people who will print more money to give you in entitlements and bailouts, eventually you will have enough money to spend your way out of this.
Right?
