If I had a dollar for every time some one said to me, “no one’s trying to take your guns” when talking gun control Ide have enough money to afford the price of 22 long rifle right about now. Yet, in 2013 we have two senators during a committee meeting going all Jesse Jackson and forgetting their microphones were on talking about confiscating guns.
This is why pro gunners are against universal background checks, because the only way to enforce a universal background check is to have a registry and historically, all gun registries have eventually facilitated some form of gun confiscation. Period.
You can’t leave the keys to your liquor store with a recovering alcoholic overnight and then be surprised when he drinks himself into a coma. The same way you can’t leave the government with all of our gun purchasing information and not expect them to eventually use it to confiscate firearms.
Think about it, you can’t even look at pair of shoes online without every subsequent ad online trying to now sell you those shoes for the next 24 hours. Just face it, the end goal is confiscation, they can call it whatever they want, gun control, gun safety, gun reformation or the amendment to build the center for less guns so the kids can read good.
The end goal is the same.
This isn’t tin foil hat wearing black helicopter In the sky is coming to kill us rhetoric, here it is right here being said by NJ senators, not a bunch of audi Q7 driving soccer moms on a parent teacher committee. This was said by people put in a position to pass laws.
So no, we aren’t crazy we aren’t fear mongering, we just understand history and understand what happens to rights if you don’t fight to protect them. We aren’t talking about the right to eat cheese or sell kids into slavery, we are talking the ability protect your life when the government is nowhere to be found. Yet, anti gunners want to take this ability away to “feel” like we have a safer society.
What’s safe about living in a society where the only people who have guns are the very people we don’t want to have them.
So to the NJ senators who think we don’t care about the bad guys and we just want to have our little guns and do whatever we want. While you sit on your throne adoring the smell of your own flatulence the people bound by the constraints of reality know that gun regulations don’t keep guns out of the hands of bad guys, but guns do keep good people safe from bad guys.
Go over and check him out here. The man has more sense than at least half the people in DC.
