Clare Daly Has Had Enough Of The Obamas

Sam Huntington, my blog partner at Always On Watch, today posted this video of Clare Daley, co-founder of United Left, speaking to the Irish Parliament last month:

Ouch . . .but will Obama feel the sting of her logic? Not likely.

Having listened to Chomsky cal Bill Clinton a war criminal for "bombing an aspirin factory" in the Sudan, and having suffered through the entirety of the world calling George Bush a Hitlerian war criminal, I am not at all impressed by this woman calling Barack Obama a war criminal, ESPECIALLY when she includes a criticism of his policy of using drones to kill Jihadists, which is one of the few policies of the Obama Administration that I am in agreement with.

Tell me, what is Obama supposed to do instead of using drones?

Are we supposed to send troops into Pakistan, a nuclear nation?

Drones mean we don't send troops in. Drones are more precise than troops. Fewer people get killed. The ones who do get killed are almost entirely the bad guys.

Criticizing the USA's use of drones is hyperbolic and without reason.

Pastorius, the problem that I have with this administrations use of drones is there is scant confirmation of the identity of targets. We are told by the same progressive media that covers for this administration, suggests the targets were al qaeda #2, or Taliban leader so & so (always without further question). Yet, for all the 'successful' drone hits, al qaeda and the Taliban is resurgent in every military theatre our military has been active in. The number of military casualties far exceed that from the previous administration.
This administration is actively supporting the these same jihadi elements as well as the Muslim brotherhood in Libya, Syria, Egypt etc. Yet we are supposed accept that the drones only target the enemy. Under these circumstances, who defines "the enemy"?

Hmm.

So are you saying you think he is purposely hitting the wrong guys in Pakistan?

Maybe even hitting guys who are fighting on our side?

I mean, if this is the case, then what you are saying is the first time I have heard such a thing alleged.

As evil as much of his behavior is, I guess I wouldn't be surprised.

Considering Obama hasn't lifted a finger to get Dr. Shakeel Afridi, the jailed CIA informant who helped hunt down Usama Bin Laden, out of jail - yeah, I would go so far as to suggest the possibility he is more than likely aiding and abetting al-qaeda instead of targetting them.
