Dutch Female Journalist Raped in Tahrir Square While Covering Egyptian Protests

Peaceful Protesters

Raped by the Ambassadors of Islam

Not even a bit surprised.

From YNet:

Egyptian media reported Sunday that a Dutch journalist was raped by several men in Cairo’s Tahrir Square a few days ago.
Dina Zakaria, a journalist reporting for the “Egypt 25″ news channel affiliated with the January 25 revolution, shared the incident on her Facebook page Sunday: “A Dutch journalist in Tahrir was raped by men who dub themselves revolutionists. Her condition is severe and she is hospitalized.”
Meanwhile, a state hospital issued a statement that the journalist was admitted after being raped by five men several days ago. She underwent surgery and has been released. It was also reported that Egypt’s Prosecutor General Talaat Abdallah ordered his staff to go to the hospital to hear the woman’s story and reveal the circumstances behind the violent attack.
Egyptian women face sexual harassment and assaults on a daily basis. During and after the revolution, there have been a number of case of foreign reporters who were sexually assaulted, such as Sonia Dridi and Lara Logan.
Sexual harassment is not new within the conservative Egyptian society, yet the extent of this phenomenon has grown and become more violent and visible. The Egyptian law defines assault as a crime, but not sexual assault.

Just trying to highlight the Primitive behavior of the protesters who do stuff like this.

In our sidebar is a list of links about surveys of Egyptians which shows that huge percentages of Egyptians adhere to the most disgusting tenets of Islam.

According to a female journalist, women suffer attacks often while on jobs because of their gender in these savage societies, and they remain silent most times because they love their job and are afraid of being kept away from important stories, should this kind of incidents become known.

My question is, knowing the number of incidents in Tahrir Square during the last 2+ years, why in hell this woman, and probably other Western ones, went there? What's wrong with their thinking process?

Being the victim of an attack anywhere else can probably not be avoided, but Tahrir Square??? Stupidity played a big role in this attack.

Stupidity played a big role in this attack.

Savagery played a role. Stupidity just facilitated it. The blame is not on the woman, it is squarely on Islam and the culture that it sows.

It must have been a peaceful rape since it was carried out by people who belonged to the 'religion of peace'.

I think LL hit the nail on the head.

We should be dropping these by the thousands. Frankly it would be act of compassion, and save countless lives.

Before you know it, there'd be a law that they would have to wear burqas too.
