Stuff sort of like….
and
There are some other BEEEYOOOOTIFUL ones, but I am sure you get the basic idea.
Of course, by the time 1776 rolled around well over 90% (and MORE) of the indians here on BOTH continents had been killed by disease brought by the Spanish and other 1st arrivals.
Using an estimate of approximately 30 million people in 1492 (including 15 million in the Aztec Empire and six million in the Inca Empire), the lowest estimates give a death toll due from disease of an astonishing 80% by the end of the 17th century (eight million people in 1650)
More modern estimates of Indian population range as high as 100 million so you do the arithmetic.
But I would not want to disturb the bias and prejudice of anti americans .. ESPECIALLY ones whose recent genocides, oh, perhaps in ARMENIA (within the last 100 years) make their racist ANTI SEMITIC internal compulsion the burning heart of hypocrisy (yes, NATO member racists, we know of the Valley of the Wolves)
No one here thinks for an instant what occurred by planned deceit or greed in the west is ANYTHING to celebrate, but no one here set out with a cause towards the Indians as the Turks did in 1915, and no one here projects forwards a disgusting double standard either for themselves or towards the tiniest state in the middle east and almost the tiniest in the entire world, surrounded by haters outnumbering them 300-1 and having been slaughtered in almost every nation since Xerxes adviser made the first attempt in ~400 BC.
However, any Native Americans here now, who have made it through the valleys of tears, now are doing as WELL AS THEY WANT.
