The Culmination of the West: Schools Replacing “Tug of War” With “Tug of Peace”

COEXIST

Culturist John used the phrase "The Culmination of the West" in discussing another issue with me.

I don't think I agree with John on that other issue (he and I do not agree on quite a few things, but I love him).

I would say THIS is The Culmination of the West, or perhaps more appropriately, this is ultimate end of believing that one can re-define EVERYTHING in one's own image.

This is the gayest thing I have ever heard.

Obviously, Liberals have aborted their own brain.

All those who once had dicks are now chicks.
What Difference Does It Make?
As school begins in the coming weeks, parents of boys should ask themselves a question: Is my son really welcome? A flurry of incidents last spring suggests that the answer is no.
In May, Christopher Marshall, age 7, was suspended from his Virginia school for picking up a pencil and using it to “shoot” a “bad guy” — his friend, who was also suspended.
A few months earlier, Josh Welch, also 7, was sent home from his Maryland school for nibbling off the corners of a strawberry Pop-Tart to shape it into a gun. At about the same time, Colorado’s Alex Evans, age 7, was suspended for throwing an imaginary hand grenade at “bad guys” in order to “save the world.”
In all these cases, school officials found the children to be in violation of the school’s zero-tolerance policies for firearms, which is clearly a ludicrous application of the rule. But common sense isn’t the only thing at stake here. In the name of zero tolerance, our schools are becoming hostile environments for young boys.
Across the country, schools are policing and punishing the distinctive, assertive sociability of boys. Many much-loved games have vanished from school playgrounds. At some schools, tug of war has been replaced with “tug of peace.”
Since the 1990s, elimination games like dodgeball, red rover and tag have been under a cloud — too damaging to self-esteem and too violent, say certain experts
Young boys, with few exceptions, love action narratives. These usually involve heroes, bad guys, rescues and shoot-ups.
As boys’ play proceeds, plots become more elaborate and the boys more transfixed. When researchers ask boys why they do it, the standard reply is, “Because it’s fun.”

This type of thihs as the subtle brainwashing for Islam of the children through the school system is a process called gradualism. This way of gaining power in the future with mind programed people for Islam is a wicked scheme that might work.
It very well be be that some Muslims have not read the book entitled THE ART OF WAR by Sun Tzu. Nevertheless, in some ways this gradualism for Islam is similar the the teaching of this book. For THE ART OF WAR reads "At first, exhibit the coyness of a maiden, until the enemy gives you an opening; afterwards emulaye the rapidity of a running hare, and then it will be too late for theenemy to oppose you."

In the past few thousand years children's play was was a prelude to life as an adult, the men warriors and the women wives and mothers. In the early 20th century this was very simple, guns and dolls. You cannot build a subservient and obedient population with warriors hence the absolute clampdown on anything to do with a warrior ethos and the glorification of homosexuality.

Well put, Ciccio.

This is one more step in the emasculation of the American male. I always thought that men and women are the same under the law, as well as intellectual equals.
And because of that I always felt sorry for the "collateral damage" the feminist movement had for men. Women raised themselves up, and made a point of pushing men down. It's clear there was an imbalance favoring men for thousands of years, but it was not necessary to emasculate men in order to empower women.

We are living the consequences of those actions now. And future generations will also be their victims.

This reminds me so much of Stalin and Guevara's efforts to make a "new man." Only problem is, the rest of world is normative. The noting of all as "constructs" is killing us. Some things are real! Fundamental among them, boys practice war games to practice for real wars.
