White House: Obama “Senses Same Thing” Socialists Elizabeth Warren And Bill De Blasio Do, Will Lurch To Far-Left

From Politico:
The president has been paying attention to the kind of response generated by Warren and de Blasio, the latter one of several new mayors meeting with Obama at the White House on Friday.
“He senses the same thing they do,” said a White House official.
Last week, Obama warned of “a dangerous and growing inequality and lack of upward mobility that has jeopardized middle-class America’s basic bargain,” adding, “I am convinced that the decisions we make on these issues over the next few years will determine whether or not our children will grow up in an America where opportunity is real.”

"Middle-class America's basic bargain?" What are they talking about? What are the terms of this "bargain" and where can I get a copy?

Oh, wait, never mind. The terms of the "bargain" are whatever they say the terms are.

People who complain about "inequality" never mention how much Oprah or Mick Jagger have earned or how little their stage help is paid. Nor do will they mention that Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano just signed a contract worth $240 million. So who exactly are they complaining about? Times up: they only complain about business leaders who earn a lot of money. Now why would that be?

"Income inequality" joins Peak Oil and Global Warming as frauds of the left that are really aimed at advancing ideological agendas rather than advancing prosperity and liberty.

The answer to 'inequality' is not thinly veiled coveting of the wealth of prosperous people, but to encourage every person to rise to their highest potential as a human. Above all, we must never confuse our worth as human beings with money, which is the mistake made by many.

Well said. If one is good at their job, their negotiating power goes up. It's as simple as that.

If one is mediocre, then one takes what one can get.

Mediocre people need to stop complaining about the mediocre fruits of their mediocre labor.
