WFB:
An Iranian graduate student at the Georgia Institute of Technology suffered severe burns on his “hands, arms, chest, and face” after a Molotov cocktail he had constructed misfired.Saamer Akshabi, who is from Iran and studying in the U.S., “was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with third-degree burns over 90 percent of his body,” according to CBS’s Atlanta affiliate. It is unclear if Akshabi’s technology studies include the construction of highly flammable explosives.
This is the 2nd such incident recently. Last time around a tenured professor of high speed exothermic self expansion took out himself and his entire class.
I don’t know what this molotov builder was doing (MS Chem E? oopsi), but I assume it was not to have fun at a Georgia Tech-UVa basketball game.
Questions abound.

When I read your title, I thought to myself, "C'mon, Epa. That happened about 4-6 weeks ago, and I posted on the incident two or three times."
And then I see your comment, "This is the 2nd such incident recently."
God help us.
The government and media swept the first one under the rug.
They will do the same thing this time.
One New Years Eve, two guys in Minnepolis blew up the entire apartment complex they lived in, just kind of playing with chemicals.
The government swept that one under the rug. And the media too.
The Muslims are getting awfully restless here in the US.
Anyone who doesn't at least THINK IRGC infiltrator after reading that ...
Iran has told us they're ready to hit us with thousands of suicide attacks, right?
