Ted Cruz: Impeach Eric Holder If He Doesn’t Take Action Against Lois Lerner

Ted Cruz for President:
Sen. Ted Cruz said Attorney General Eric Holder ought to be impeached if he doesn’t take tough action against former IRS official Lois Lerner, who’s been tied to the agency’s targeting-of-tea-partyers scandal.
During a talk with Sean Hannity on the host’s radio show on Thursday, Mr. Cruz called Mr. Holder the “most partisan attorney general the country has ever had,” and said that he should be impeached for “defying Congress and the rule of law,” Breitbart reported.
For example: Mr. Holder has not indicted anybody in the eight months after the inspector general found that the IRS has indeed wrongfully targeted conservative and tea party groups, Mr. Cruz said. That’s just not acceptable, Mr. Cruz added.

I am UNINTERESTED in this kind of action with the amount of time left. All this will do is give the other side more time and space to claim racism. Concentrate on winning elections NOT on vindictive actions.

I don't see justice as vindictive. I recognize there is no way Impeachment proceedings could follow through to their end. However, the American people need to understand the gravity of the situation. And such proceedings are the only way - other than the slow unfolding of history and the revelations of future history books - to impress upon the American people what their foolishness has wrought.

This is not a joke, Epa. We have damn near committed national suicide.

As I have said many times before: voting for Obama once was somewhat understandable, but twice - after his terrible first term results - was sickening.

Again, not a joke.

Let me put it this way: If we don't get fucking serious in this country, our next President will be someone named Christie, Bush, or Clinton.

We might as well all stand in line and drink poison like Jonestown.

And, let me put it another way - in the form of a question:

Who in the GOP do you think is taking this situation as seriously as it needs to be taken?
