I can’t think of a better example of incompetent governance than what is going on at the border now.
- No one wants to turn away kids being raped or impressed into gangs like MS-13
- No one want to see these kids held in UNCOOLED AIRPLANE HANGARS in Texas, or Arizona IN FRICKIN’ JULY
- No one wants to see them, once here do anything but become GOOD AMERICANS thru SOME KIND of rational process, or GO HOME.
- No one wants the border ANYTHING but completely IMPENETRABLE to terrorists.
- No one wants to ADMIT gang members into the USA
- No one wants to excessively burden local, town taxed, and real estate taxed school districts and therefore American households with too many incoming alien refugees when they are compelled by law to hire bilingual teachers, and find space without notice.
- No one believes a kid from Nicaragua or Guatemala has less right than kids in Somalia to avoid being pressed into HORROR, but no one believes we can be a haven for kids EVERYWHERE ON EARTH. We just CANNOT DO THAT, physically (look where these kids are being WAREHOUSED), or certainly (as our family net worth’s decline) economically.
Obama, given his INABILITY to do anything but campaign and calculate based on that ‘everything is a nail’ hammering campaign persona, is apparently going to do the unbelievable for this nation, and LEGISLATE MAJOR CHANGE VIA DECREE.
There can be but ONE WAY to limit this arrogant, unconstitutional, purposeful, UNAMERICAN, destructive behavior and it should be reserved for after November, WHEN THERE IS A REPUBLICAN MAJORITY IN BOTH HOUSES, IF AT ALL. As the effects of this flood spreads to school districts and potentially police blotters, and neighborhoods, and the border remains as it is, there will be a lot of the democrats LEFT in January 2015 thinking about November 2016 and what to do when republican majorities in both houses face only presidential vetoes of the American peoples’ will as expressed thru elections based on his performance (or lack of).
We face a VERY, VERY rough 2 years ahead. Right now the only realistic hope the democrats have of retaining the senate outright is if the R’s IMPEACH Obama and his ground game gets the vote out for the individual states, and congressional districts. My judgment is that his behavior will be to PROVOKE that response.
The republicans should not do it.
If there are republican majorities in both houses this will all look very different November 12th. And rule via Obama decree will have a very different set of responses.
