As a 71 graduate, and knowing what Charlottesville was like,, this entire story is sickening beyond description.

DESCRIPTION
We didn't have women there from 67-71 but there was no place in town it was ever fearful to walk or be. And I cannot ever recall thinking twice about bringing a co-ed from out of town, or walking around town with her ANYWHERE.
Security was never an issue.
