Rhode Island: Beheading Threats Made at 3 Elementary Schools

Bizpac Review reported:
Police have scrambled to place officers at all schools in three Rhode Islandcities after receiving a chilling threat to behead elementary school students.
The cryptic note specified that “beheading is planned,” Warwick Police Chief Steven McCartney told WPRO-AM on Wednesday, according to NECN.com.
Since the Johnston police received the anonymous threat via mail on Tuesday, officers have been stationed at every school in Warwick, Cranston and Johnston and will remain there through Friday.
Authorities have not determined the validity of the threat and will not comment any further on the letter, but are investigating.
