The Left Grows More Obnoxious Than Ever-Dialectic/False Framing

Vox:

An expert on right-wing terrorism explains the militia movement behind the Oregon takeover

And who is this expert?
Daryl Johnson saw this coming. In 2009, as an analyst at the Department of Homeland Security, Johnson wrote a report arguing that the economic downturn and the election of the first black president could fuel a new wave of anti-government violence from extreme right-wing groups.
His report was later leaked, provoking widespread outrage from conservatives. Johnson left DHS in 2010. But his analysis proved correct. The number of anti-government militias grew ninefold between 2008 and 2011, and after a brief period of decline, is now growing again.
Now I am NOT in favor of the Bundy’s being out there AT ALL. The best they can hope for is that one day, people will think of them as John Brown.
But there is also NO DOUBT that the growth of so called militias are not the result of some kind of maniacal enmity sprung from evil, but may well be the INEVITABLE result of the overgrowth of injudicious self arrogated authority of the executive branch, unchecked by congress.
One might think of the EPA in this regard as well as the BLM.
How else are we to look at what occurred as a result of the BLM claims that a burning commonly done in every rural area of the USA was actually a coverup crime, designed to obscure the POACHING OF DEER.
The King’s deer?
Doesn’t Vox have a clue?
The government has gone too far.
Again.
But the answer is not an armed takeover.
If the Hammonds don’t want that, how can anyone else?

It is interesting that one headline touts that the fight in Oregon has been brewing for years over "federal land rights".

Errr.... what about the right to private land ownership and stewardship of the same? The BLM encroaches on the right to private property. It is amazing that the BLM can own tens of thousands of acres surrounding a ranch, but it sticks in their craw that they have a hold out. * Inordinate greed comes to mind. It is political lusting over a neighbor's wife.

I like to remember that long before an agency was created to steward the land Divine Agency took care of the land and the animals inhabiting the land without federal interference.... for millions of years!

How would each of us feel if the Bureau of Land Management suddenly set about to acquire our home? Could we keep our home? Or would we be evicted? The BLM seeks to evict families from their homes.

no argument. They decide for themselves, what the policy for adding land to themselves is, and then what tactics are REQUIRED to carry out the policy succesfully.

Govt by executive dictate RIGHT at the intersection of govt and private property.

My issue on this is simple. They were prosecuted on the local level and were given sentences of 3 months and 9 months. BUT, the Feds came in on appeal and demanded a minimum 5 year sentence under the guidelines. Now, I find it very interesting that THIS WH will do ANYTHING to get rid of mandatory sentencing when it pertains to Felons in Possession and other crimes but for these WHITE CONSERVATIVE RANCHERS... They support mandatory sentencing? This was a DC Decision!!!
