This election, which is VERY reminiscent of 1980 in some ways, is the victory of the reason of the people who have seen challenging careers replaced by part time, or drudgery jobs beginning as early as 1979 (when US Steel began to complain about Japanese steel being 'dumped' here by Japanese companies supported by their govt in THEIR program to increase THEIR exports).
This is a victory of those being hugged and 'shushed' as leaders of both parties exclaimed their own professional expertise until the people realized what as really going on ... that CORPORATE REPUBLICANS AND WALL STREET DEMOCRATS are one and the same.
If Trump is really wise, he will recognize those in both parties, who have recognized this FACT, and there will be an earthquake, and he will get things done.
Ryan-McConnell-Pelosi-Hoyer MUST GO. But although that's not up to him, he can influence this.
Schumer and Trump are buddies from the old neighborhood, so who knows?
But it's not Ryan conservatism, (best case on that interpretation) for example, which is the enemy, it is his INSISTENCE in the face of objective evidence that FREE TRADE is the way to go which means he has to go (never mind WHO has really benefited here). It is his UNFEELING insistence on these values as a 'professional' relying his 'expertise' while being proven factually incorrect to the PEOPLE who work and live here, which means he has to go.
There are many in congress who will be rethinking things in a Darwinian fashion. Trump should identify these men and women.
REGARDLESS of the granfalloon of R or D, those people ARE his party.
There are many who will never adapt. They are old triceratops(es) and can inflict damage but no longer can leave any further legacy but DAMAGE. They just don't realize it yet. They will insist to their graves that we don't know what we are doing, NEVER understanding for a second that in that cry they are demeaning the ENTIRE REASON FOR THE USA...
That people hold complete sovereignty here in the USA, while they make up their own rules right out their own heads.
This morning the Ambassador of France to the USA said:
"After Brexit and this election, everything is now possible. A world is collapsing before our eyes. Dizziness."Après Brexit et cette élection, tout est désormais possible. Un monde s'effondre devant nos yeux. Un vertige.— Gérard Araud (@GerardAraud) November 9, 2016
It was in 1776, and it is now.
The USA remains a revolutionary nation because the PEOPLE govern.
The 'elite' can show their erudite and mild contempt by naming this 'populism' but this only occurs when the leaders are no longer part of the people.
Justice HAS been delivered.
Now Trump must figure out how to do the same.

Epa,
A great post!
We the People have spoken. We have endured taxation without representation for about three decades. We want a return to accountability from our elected officials.
Karl Rove - a man in search of significance, had the audacity to say Trump needs to "thank" Paul Ryan?
Nope. Paul Ryan needs to shut the hell up. Throw in Kasich and a few dozen more Republicans who are now at CVS purchasing a year's supply of Depends.
I bumped your post up to the top, Epa.
Thanks. Great post.
Epa,
Outstanding post!
