Do you guys think it's too late to recover the proper road? I feel quite discouraged at this point. The hatred against Trump is visceral and will not stop. I know the majority of the people do not feel that way, but most of the people who surround me do. Is so disheartening.
Anon - I recall the fetid swamp attempted to undermine and negatively characterize President Ronald Reagan at every turn as well - perhaps not with the same disregard for common decency but with equal fervor. Fear is, an attempt on Reagan's life nearly succeeded and brought us the Brady bill.

I also am surrounded by Trump haters. Even in my own family. I am probably the only person in my family who likes Trump other than my mother, who is in her 90's. Everyone else, even the Conservaties, dislike Trump.
and I live in a college town in California, so most everyone here seems to hate him.
