I would like to say "thank you" to the illegal immigrant who received surgery at my hospital last week. She has eleven children and admitted that some of them do not have their "papers".

Thank you to her, her eleven children, her grandchildren, and also her great grandchildren. Yep. The great grandchildren are now sprouting up like mushrooms. So she sez.

Muchas gracias! Muchas gracias por su cadena de immigracion ilegal.

While George W spouts off about Americans not picking cotton at 105 degrees can we discuss Americans working into their seventies to pay for the tax burden of illegal immigrants? I have never picked cotton. But I have worked my ass off - of that I am entirely sure. And I pay about .5K for my monthly insurance premium. So Jorge W. can just stick that cotton up his nose. El burro habla.

Humans don't pick cotton anymore.

Machines do.

Bush family is NWO through and through. I believe papa even coined the term.

I thought that the picking-cotton-in-the-heat argument was settled by the American Civil War.

GWB has always been an open-borders guy.

TLEP cites a specific case above. That cadena is replicated many times all over the United States every day -- probably every hour.

And we build expensive additions to our schools to accommodate that cadena.

From the Gatestone Institute:

"At the federal, state, and local levels, taxpayers shell out approximately $134.9 billion to cover the costs incurred by the presence of more than 12.5 million illegal aliens, and about 4.2 million citizen children of illegal aliens."

Let's also not address the uncomfortable question: Has the dumbing of America been aided by importation of a peasant class who refuse to learn English, schools that structure teaching to non-English speaking, instead of the native born English-speaking students?

Nineteenth century Europe would have never produced some of its famous well-known scholars had they attended public school in my town. But they would be able to count on their fingers in the third grade and use stick figures to learn multiplication tables. (My son and his third grade school experience). He was sent to the principle because he finished work "too soon" and was bored. The vice principal informed us he was regaled with tales of Camelot and the Knights of the Round Table. Yeah - this was my little guy. I started him on the classics in the third grade. His vocabulary is superior to my own.

In high school, a teacher despised him because he had already read Homer (The Odyssey) at age 14 and large volumes of classical reading from his own growing personal library. This mother did not censor. He read adult books at an early age and we answered the questions he posed.
