Tim Pool makes a very creative, and intricate political argument against Twitter's editorializing via banning of Free Speech.
His argument is this:
1) Twitter has become so powerful that it is being used to manipulate U.S. elections.
2) Even the President, and many other political figures use it as a means of communication.
3) This means Twitter has become a public space - albeit a privately-owned public space.
4) Twitter's banning policy is a violation of the First Amendment.
5) This precludes American citizens from using the public space to participate in the national dialogue, even as the President and other politicians enjoy unrestricted access.
There is also, of course, the implicit argument here that
Twitter, through misuse of it's Public Space, has taken a government Of The People, By The People, and For The People, and turned it into a dictatorial government, in which the Politicians are given unrestricted ability to talk AT the people, even as the people are not allowed to talk back.
