For as long as I can remember, Trump has been telling Americans what he would do as President of the United States.
Frankly, I never believed him.
But I was wrong.
He is doing exactly what he said he would do.

I've thought that, too, for quite a while now.
I agree. The POTUS has been self-educating for decades for this current role. My guess is he embarked on this path the day he shook Reagan's hand.
He probably thought, "I can do this job." And now he is doing it. And it speaks to the extraordinary imagination and can-do attitude of Americans from the edge of Canada, to the coastal regions, across the heartland and to the southern border.
We have found a man who looks like "us" and whom we aspire to be during our own lifetime.
