Anonymity Is Necessary To a Free Republic In The Same Way As the 2nd Amendment Is

Anyone who does not understand this basic principle, that anonymity is integral to a free republic style of governance, has already forgotten the Covid years where any doctor or scientist who spoke out publicly against the vaxx, especially when they were right, got destroyed. Or biologists saying that there is no such thing as transexual etc.

Anonymity is necessary to a Free Republic in the same way the 2nd Amendment is, because it affords the individual an opportunity to protect himself in a time of government tyranny. 

We know that the 1st Amendment protects our Right to Free Speech. But, as we have seen during COVID, the government took Free Speech away from many people, by outsourcing the abuse of the First Amendment to corporations who were more than willing to shut down the Free Speech of individuals.

Of course, the 2nd Amendment allows the potential of protecting oneself through the use of violence, but violence is a poor first step. We don't want to have to say to the government, "Hey, you took away my Free Speech, so I am going to blow your fucking head off," now do we?

Anonymity give the individual a means to protest government abuse without having to be physically violent.
