Franklin Graham Pusses Out, Criticizes Mohammed Cartoon Contest

Franklin Graham Pusses Out

- if you need to see evidence, here's the link.

For my part, he has separated himself from us. He is no longer with us.

So, all this guy's standing up for Christians, declaring Islam is a religion of Satan saying that Obama's sympathy for Islam will lead to persecution of Christians and Jews, it all meant nothing?

He's not willing to stand for the foundational precept of Freedom of Speech?

What does Franklin Graham stand for? If he is not willing to stand for Freedom of Speech - the absolute FIRST PRINCIPLE of life - then what does he really stand for?

Who the fuck is he?

I have a lesson for Franklin Graham: IF A MAN IS NOT FREE, HE CAN NOT CHOOSE TO FOLLOW GOD!

So, if you are not willing to stand for Freedom, you are standing against people's ability to choose to follow God.

The reason Freedom of Speech is the first principle is because words are how we define ourselves; HOW WE CHOOSE TO BE WHO WE WANT TO BE, WHO ARE, AND WHO WE WILL BECOME.

IF WE CAN NOT CHOOSE THESE THINGS, WE CAN NOT CHOOSE ANYTHING.

Here's something for Christians to ponder (if you're not a Christian, go ahead and ignore this part):

When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden, God had three choices:

1) He could have turned them into automotons.

2) He could have utterly destroyed mankind, and declared us an experiment gone wrong.

or

3) He could have done what He did, which is to allow us to keep our Freedom of Choice, and worked out a way to use it for His Greater Glory.

God chose the way of Freedom for us, and that Greater Glory He worked out was to have His Son die for our sins, so that we could be reconciled to God, AS LONG AS WE CHOOSE TO FOLLOW HIM.

Therefore, when Jesus died on the cross, HE DIED FOR OUR FREEDOM BEFORE HE DIED FOR OUR SINS.

We make the choice to follow Him and THEN our sins our wiped clean.

One and then the other.

Freedom is embedded in the Christian worldview, no matter how much the average Christian, or the average Theologian might have you believe otherwise.

Freedom is necessary to follow God.

God made us in His Image.

He made us Free, Rational Human Beings, with a Creative Will.

He Loves us the way He created us.

Islam, on the other hand, believes that violence, coercion, and bribery can be used to motivate a person to follow Allah.

In other words, Islam does not believe in Freedom of Choice.

And on the other hand, Freedom of Choice is foundational to the Judeo-Christian worldview.

Christians need to take this to heart, and be willing to stand up for Freedom. Christians need to be willing to lay their lives on the line for Freedom.

For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.

Franklin Graham on Obama: "His Entire Life His Whole Influence Has Been Islam"

“The president is ignoring the fact that these are Islamic extremists. These are terrorists. And ISIS is a terrorist organization. And they are bent on destroying the West. They’ve already said they want the flag of Islam to fly over the White House. The president, his entire life his whole influence has been Islam. His mother has been married to a Muslim. His father is a Muslim. Then she married a man from Indonesia. He was raised in Indonesia. Went to Islamic schools. I assume she was a Muslim. So, his whole life experiences have been surrounded by Islam. He only knows Islam. And, he’s given a pass to Islam. He’s refusing to accept and understand the evil that is in front of him.”

Franklin Graham: “Obama’s Giving Islam a Pass Rather Than Openly Speaking About its Horrific Treatment of Women and Minorities”

From Weasel Zippers:

(Newsmax)- Evangelical leader Rev. Franklin Graham issued his toughest remarks yet Monday on the administration’s role in revoking his invitation to speak at the Pentagon’s National Day of Prayer event, charging that President Obama is “giving Islam a pass” rather than speaking openly about the “horrific” treatment women and minorities receive in many Muslim countries.

In an exclusive telephone interview with Newsmax.TV, Graham called revoking his invitation to the prayer service “a slap at all evangelical Christians.”

And he clearly placed the blame on the Obama administration, telling Newsmax that the Pentagon would never revoke such an invitation without first consulting with the White House.

“I’m being restricted from my religious rights, and from what I believe,” Graham warned, as he complained of a growing “secularization” in the government.

Ignore BHO's Memo On Islam, Get Banned

The title here refers to Franklin Graham's being disinvited to offering prayer at the Pentagon on the upcoming National Day of Prayer.

From this source:
...Apparently Franklin didn’t get the memo that we can’t say squat about Islam anymore. Oh, hell no. Muslims are groovy no matter what they do, and anyone who says otherwise … is … well … evil … in the eyes of the thought police who’re heading up the United States of Political Horse Smack.

Check it out: When Muslims kill 3,000 Americans, we can’t call them “wicked.” When they abuse women, cut off little girls’ clitorises, stone unruly wives, honor kill their teenage daughters for texting someone not named Achmed, and keep precious women in stone-age bondage worldwide, we can’t say that’s BS because that might offend them. And God forbid we should offend folks who’re six bubbles off level and don’t get basic women’s rights.

[...]

...I’d like to thank Franklin for having the holy testosterone—amidst the many craven and neutered capitulating clerics, pundits and politicians across our land—to call Islam’s actions wicked because … duh … they are. Good job, old chap....
Franklin Graham called Islam "evil" in 2001, immediately following 9/11, and has since backed off fromthat label of "evil," even though he still continues to criticize Islam.

Graham's having his invitation rescinded has, as expected, gratified Muslim groups, this group, for one:
Imam Mahdi Bray, Executive Director of MAS Freedom, called the withdrawal of the invitation “a victory against outright religious bigotry and an affirmation that positive and affirming prayer should always be lifted up over the kind of invocations that come from people like Reverend Franklin Graham.”
Information about Mahdi Bray and the Muslim American Society and its ties to the Muslim Brotherhood HERE and HERE at Discover the Networks.

By the way, contrary to the popular rumor, BHO did not outright cancel the National Day of Prayer, scheduled for May 6. Instead:
President Barack Obama will not celebrate the day with a a prayer service in the east room of the White House.
BHO did meet with Billy Graham in North Carolina this past weekend; apparently, Franklin Graham was also present and briefly discussed with BHO the former's being banned from offering prayer at the Pentagon.
