Lindsay Shepherd’s Attacker Who Labeled her “Alt-Right” Was Ousted from Windsor University Position After Anti-Semitic Scandal

I have not posted on the situation, vis a vis Lindsay Sherherd, at all. Other websites have covered it, and I suspect most news junkies know about it, but I will summarize it this way.

Lindsay Shepherd is a Canadian Teaching Assistant at University of Wilfrid Laurier. As part of a class discussion she played a clip of Jordan Peterson discussing the mandate on using Gender Pronouns.

Shepherd was censured, brought in for a meeting with Laurier faculty who berated her until she broke down in tears. They equated her airing a Jordan Peterson clip in class with playing a Hitler speech. 

Since the audio of her abuse was leaked, the school has issued a retraction, but some of the leftist activists and journalists are coming after Shepherd, and they won’t stop until they have her head delivered on a platter. Mohammad Akbar wrote a smear piece in NOW Magazine claiming that Shepherd is linked to the anti-Semitic alt-right movement.  

The irony is that Akbar himself was himself ousted from a student office at University of Windsor after an anti-Semitic hate crime scandal in 2014. Akbar was the UWSA vice president of external affairs during the time that the USWA passed an anti-Israel bill. 

In fact, as the Toronto Star reported, the bill “sparked safety concerns for some Jewish students on campus, as well as complaints that have prompted an investigation of the vote by the school’s administration.” 

“I think the referendum will just lead to a more hostile environment on campus,” said David, a Jewish University of Windsor student who only wanted to give his first name for safety reasons. 

It didn’t end there, however. The passage of this bill so emboldened anti-Semites on campus that they broke into school buildings and vandalized property with anti-Semitic symbols. 

The scandal was so bad that even though Mohommad Akbar ran unopposed in the election, he received more “no” votes than “yes” and was ousted from office. Maclean’s reports: Mohammad Akbar, the rejected candidate for president, was on the executive that allowed the [BDS] vote to go forward last month. “Voters who had been paying attention would have noticed that.” 

So, Akbar is using the classic tactic of, “Accuse the other side of that which you are guilty.” While Akbar is leading a smear campaign against Lindsay Shepherd for supposedly making students “unsafe” at Wilfrid Laurier, he himself was involved in a scandal that actually endangered Jewish students at Windsor University.

Sometimes it seems like there is a Muslim at the bottom of incidence of fascism in the West.

Here we have a Muslim criticizing a Classical Liberal for not being inclusive enough.

What would Mohammed Akbar think of Saudi Arabia killing a Transgender man for being a "homosexual"?

Because that is likely what would happen.

No one in the West is advocating murdering Homosexuals, or those who consider themselves to be a gender other than what they were born.

In the West we say, "Live and Let Live", and we tolerate those who are different. We include them in our lives.

That being said, we do not have to act like everything everyone does is normal. And we will not be forced to change the way we use words, or the way we understand Biology, just to appease those who are different.

Peterson, being an intellectual, has woven the Transgender issue into a much larger body of ideas, many of which are compelling. But as the crux, all this is about is, "Do we change Language, and do we re-write the science of Biology, to suit those who say their penis does not mean they are a male?

Answer = No.

And a Muslim decides to play that he is inclusive. He is absolutely ok with those with penises going into female bathrooms and taking showers, or pulling out their penis to urinate. He is absolutely ok with that.

Or at least he is absolutely ok with fostering more enmity between the Infidels.

Lets say for the sake of argument that he was not a muslim. 

The media reaction has been horror, fascination, curiosity and a desperate need to know the motive for this action. This should illustrate something very important about us as a people and even our media, including the parts of the media desperately trying to cover up the nature of islam and worse, act on policies that islam must always be written about as if it was benign and ‘the victim.’ 

Notice how it is clear in all articles that what this man did was anathema. It was an exception. A crime. Had he done it for jihad, which still may be the case, it would be no surprise to anyone. 

The point is that human nature is what it is and each culture or religion is a system which tries to make it all work in some way by emphasizing some aspects of our nature as virtues and others we suppress as sins or crimes or monstrosities. Islam is an inversion of Western culture whether its Judeo-Christian or secular humanist or game theory based logic with an axiom of reduction of suffering and maximizing of freedoms. Islam takes inflicting suffering and makes it a virtue. It calls the murder of other people martyrdom as opposed to our notions, which are the sacrifice of the selves for others. 

In other words, islam can be seen for what it is even in the reactions we have to the extremely rare case of a non-muslim committing an atrocious act like this. We know this is not how we think or behave. That it is horrifying to us. We do not celebrate this. 

It is also very important to note that some jihadi pages have claimed this man is a hero of islam. What a magnificent example of the raw depravity of that system of living that they would claim as their own with pride and joy someone who is likely not even a member of their cult, but because he committed an atrocity of such magnitude by murdering over a hundred people and from a position of trust, perhaps the worst kind of crime in non-islamic culture, that they would make him an honorary muslim in their eyes. 

Few have taken notice of this. But this is a great time for a moment of sober reflection by the media. Often by the mirror image can we better know a thing. The fact that The Islamic State has taken credit for this action is not evidence that he was a muslim by any stretch. But it is evidence that Islam feels this was a great and noble act. 

When sunnis destroy and kill shiias, we do not delight in it and say, ‘what a great hero for the West’ even if there is some schadenfreude in it. More typically we would know that this is simply more classical and orthodox islamic behaviour and an example of the reasons we oppose it.

When we evaluate cases for potential Muslim terrorists, we always look for physical signs like a trimmed mustache and a beard that is lesser trimmed. And when it comes to a crime that was committed, we look at who the victims are. 

In the story on Eddie Routh who murdered Chris Kyle, there are signs of concern, especially the facial hair, it does match the profile of a convert. Also, Routh was a prison guard over Muslim terrorists at Bilad Airbase in Baghdad in 2007. 

He never served in battle, but spent most of his time looking and talking to Muslims in jail. 

He could have likely interacted with the inmates and got converted; prison has a higher conversion rate than any mosque. 

Also, why would he kill a Navy seal who was known to have killed so many terrorists? 

Although there needs to be more investigations to prove that Routh converted to Islam, the possibilities are there. After all, there could be a motive to kill Kyle who became a wanted man for the Sunni insurgents he was targeting, had a price put on his head and was dubbed the Shaitan – devil – of Ramadi. 

That plus Kyle was an ‘Islamophobe’ who was open about his rightful hatred for Islam and the Quran. This makes him wanted. Examining his killer gives also clues. 

“During a phone call with his father, Routh expressed sympathy for the detainees and discontent over how the US was conducting the war as well as his reluctance to engage in combat” and “While working as a guard at Balad Air Base, Routh laments his [Muslim] prisoners’ poor living conditions”. 

What the media says that Routh had Post Traumatic Disorder is simply untrue. 

According to The Warfighter Foundation: 

“Eddie Routh served one tour in Iraq in 2007, at Balad Air Base (the 2nd largest U.S. installation in Iraq), with no significant events. No combat experience. Let me say that again, he NEVER SAW COMBAT or any aspect of traumatic events associated with a combat deployment (i.e. incoming mortar or rocket fire). He never left the base, EVER.” 

The Warfighter Foundation, a nonprofit veterans group, filed a Freedom of Information Act request to obtain information about Routh’s service record. It was through the information they received that the group discovered Routh had not experienced any type of combat. 

“[Routh] held a non-combat arms occupation of 2111 (Small Arms Repairer/ Technician or more commonly referred to as an Armorer),” the group reported. 

“Balad Air Base had a Pizza Hut, 24 hour Burger King, Subway, Popeye’s, Baskin Robbins, movie theater, and even a miniature golf course. It even had a strictly enforced 10 mile per hour speed limit!” 

So what is all this hoopla about him having PTSD?

1.)    It is not permissible for one to trim the hair along the jawbone unless it exceeds a fistful.Ulama have mentioned that it is wajib (obligatory) to grow the beard at least at fists’ length. The Ulama have deduced this from the following Hadith of the Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi Wasallam) mentioned in Bukhari:

   عن ابن عمر: عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال خالفوا المشركين وفروا اللحى وأحفوا الشوارب.

(صحيح البخاري، 7/ 73، الفكر)

The Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi Wasallam) has mentioned: “Oppose the Polytheists; lengthen the beards and trim the mustaches.”(Bukhari)

New information is surfacing about the man who killed former SEAL Chris Kyle. As the story goes, Chris Kyle took Marine Eddie Ray Routh, who was allegedly suffering from post traumatic stress disorder, to a Texas gun range where he turned the gun on Kyle. 

But according to documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, Routh was never in combat, so it’s unlikely he was suffering from PTSD. 

On their Facebook page, The Warfighter Foundation, wrote that “he NEVER SAW COMBAT or any aspect of traumatic events associated with a combat deployment (i.e. incoming mortar or rocket fire). He never left the base, EVER.” 

Now people are taking a closer look at Routh, and it’s speculated that he might have been an Islamic sympathizer.

What is known. however, is that Routh, while never serving in combat, did work at the Bilad Airbase prison, guarding Muslim terrorists. 

Walid Shoebat, a former radicalized Muslim terrorist and member of the PLO who has since converted to Christianity, believes that because of his past and credentials, he is confident in his deduction that Eddie Routh was in fact becoming a radical Muslim, although there is no proof yet of the conversion.

Routh had been taken to a mental hospital twice in the past five months and told authorities that he was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, police records show.”

However, just saying you have PTSD is also different than actually being diagnosed. 

While Routh may indeed suffered mental problems, PTSD may not have been one of them. 

Nonetheless, the media will continue to focus on PTSD, which further casts doubt on our veterans and weakens our resolve for battle. 

But the last thing the media would ever consider is that Routh could have been a convert to Islam. It’s an interesting and discomfiting theory. 

And then there’s the matter of his beard with trimmed moustache. Of course we can’t engage in profiling, but…

Interestingly, in context with the fact that this article was written by her father-in-law, Valerie Jarrett has an unusual amount of influence over Obama (along with personal security that may be even better than his, another unusual and intriguing bit of business here). And equally interesting is that Obama, who may have been a beneficiary of this Muslim money, and may now be in this Muslim debt, has aggressively pursued both of the Muslim agendas I cited above. And, also equally interesting, is that Obama has paid a king’s ransom for court ordered seals of any such records of this potential financing of his college education, and perhaps, of other of his expenses.

Lastly, it’s very important to note that the main source for the article is Khalid Mansour, “the same lawyer who allegedly helped arrange for the entrance of Barack Obama into Harvard Law School in 1988.” (Valerie Jarrett, by the way, was born in Iran. The one country protected by Obama from the sweep of the Arab Spring.) Now all of this may seem sensational, but let’s face facts. Excerpted from Daily Interlake: Searching old newspapers is one of my favorite pastimes, and I have tried to use them many times to shed light on current events — or to inform readers about how the past is prologue to our very interesting present-day quandaries.

Recently, I came across a syndicated column from November 1979 that seemed to point 30 years into the future toward an obscure campaign issue that arose briefly in the 2008 presidential campaign.

Though by no means definitive, it provides an interesting insight, at least, into how Chicago politics intersected with the black power movement and Middle Eastern money at a certain point in time. Whether it has any greater relevance to the 2012 presidential campaign, I will allow the reader to decide. In order to accomplish that, I will also take the unusual step of providing footnotes and the end of this column so that each of you can do the investigative work for yourself.

The column itself had appeared in the St. Petersburg (Fla.) Evening Independent of Nov. 6, but it was the work of a veteran newspaperman who at the time was working for the prestigious Chicago Tribune and whose work was syndicated nationally. (1)

So far as I know, this 1979 column has not previously been brought to light, but it certainly should be because it broke some very interesting news about the “rumored billions of dollars the oil-rich Arab nations are supposed to unload on American black leaders and minority institutions.” The columnist quoted a black San Francisco lawyer who said, “It’s not just a rumor. Aid will come from some of the Arab states.”

Well, if anyone would know, it would have been this lawyer — Donald Warden, who had helped defend OPEC in an antitrust suit that year and had developed significant ties with the Saudi royal family since becoming a Muslim and taking the name Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour.

Al-Mansour told Jarrett that he had presented the “proposed special aid program to OPEC Secretary-General Rene Ortiz” in September 1979, and that “the first indications of Arab help to American blacks may be announced in December.” Maybe so, but I looked high and wide in newspapers in 1979 and 1980 for any other stories about this aid package funded by OPEC and never found it verified. (Continued after the jump)

You would think that a program to spend “$20 million per year for 10 years to aid 10,000 minority students each year, including blacks, Arabs, Hispanics, Asians and native Americans” would be referred to somewhere other than one obscure 1979 column, but I haven’t found any other word of it.

Maybe the funding materialized, maybe it didn’t, but what’s particularly noteworthy is that this black Islamic lawyer who “for several years [had] urged the rich Arab kingdoms to cultivate stronger ties to America’s blacks by supporting black businesses and black colleges and giving financial help to disadvantaged students” was also the same lawyer who allegedly helped arrange for the entrance of Barack Obama into Harvard Law School in 1988.

That tale had surfaced in 2008 when Barack Obama was a candidate for president and one of the leading black politicians in the country — Percy Sutton of New York — told an interviewer on a Manhattan TV news show that he had been introduced to Obama “by a friend who was raising money for him. The friend’s name is Dr. Khalid al-Mansour, from Texas. He is the principal adviser to one of the world’s richest men. He told me about Obama.” (2)

This peculiar revelation engendered a small hubbub in 2008, but was quickly dismissed by the Obama campaign as the ditherings of a senile old man. I don’t believe President Obama himself ever denied the story personally, and no one has explained how Sutton came up with this elaborate story about Khalid al-Mansour if it had no basis in fact, and in any case al-Mansour no longer denies it. Back in 2008, while actually supporting Hillary Clinton in the New York primary, Percy Sutton was interviewed on TV and said that he thought Barack Obama was nonetheless quite impressive. He also revealed that he had first heard about Obama 20 years previously in a letter where al-Mansour wrote, “there is a young man that has applied to Harvard. I know that you have a few friends up there because you used to go up there to speak. Would you please write a letter in support of him?”

Sutton concluded in the interview, “I wrote a letter of support of him to my friends at Harvard, saying to them I thought there was a genius that was going to be available and I certainly hoped they would treat him kindly.”

Until now, there really has been no context within which to understand the Sutton story or to buttress it as a reliable account other than the reputation of Sutton himself as one of the top leaders of the black community in Manhattan — himself a noted attorney, businessman and politician. But the new discovery of the 1979 column that established Khalid al-Mansour’s interest in creating a fund to give “financial help to disadvantaged students” does provide a clue that he might indeed — along with his patron, Arab Prince Alwaleed bin Talal — have taken an interest in the “genius” Barack Obama.

It also might be considered more than coincidence that the author of that 1979 newspaper column was from Chicago, where Barack Obama settled in 1986 a few years after his stint at Columbia University. It is certainly surprising that the author of that column was none other than Vernon Jarrett, the future (and later former) father-in-law of Valerie Jarrett, who ultimately became the consigliatore of the Obama White House.

It is also noteworthy that Vernon Jarrett was one of the best friends and a colleague of Frank Marshall Davis, the former Chicago journalist and lifelong communist who moved to Hawaii in the late 1940s and years later befriended Stanley and Madelyn Dunham and their daughter Stanley Ann, the mother of Barack Obama. And to anyone who has the modicum of a spark of curiosity, it is surely intriguing that Frank Davis took an active role in the rearing of young Barack from the age of 10 until he turned 18 and left Hawaii for his first year of college at Occidental College in Los Angeles. (5)

It is also at least suggestive that Obama began that college education as a member of the highly international student body of Occidental College in 1979, the same year when Vernon Jarrett was touting the college aid program being funded by OPEC and possibly Prince Alwaleed. The fact that President Obama has studiously avoided releasing records of his college years is suggestive also, but has no evidentiary value in the present discussion. (6)

The nature of Vernon Jarrett’s relationship to Khalid al-Mansour is likewise uncertain, but it is very likely they had known each other as leaders of the black civil-rights movement for many years. Under his previous name of Donald Warden, al-Mansour had founded the African American Association in the Bay Area in the early 1960s. He had also helped inspire the Black Panther Party through his association with black-power leaders such as Huey Newton and Bobby Seale. Seale, of course, had a famous association with Chicago later, when he was part of the Chicago Eight charged with conspiracy and inciting to riot at the Democratic National Convention in 1968. (7)

In any case, it doesn’t matter if Vernon Jarrett and Khalid al-Mansour had a personal relationship or not. For some reason, al-Mansour had used Jarrett as the messenger to get out the word about his efforts to funnel Arab oil money to black students and minority colleges at about the same time that Barack Obama began his college career. That doesn’t mean either Jarrett or al-Mansour knew Obama at that time, but eight years later when Obama was a rising star in Chicago, a friend of Bill Ayers and Valerie Jarrett, it is much more likely that he did indeed have the assistance of very important people in his meteoric rise. The words of Percy Sutton about what al-Mansour told him regarding Obama certainly have the ring of truth:

“His introduction was there is a young man that has applied to Harvard. I know that you have a few friends back there… Would you please write a letter in support of him? (That’s before Obama decided to run.) … and he interjected the advice that Obama had passed the requirements, had taken and passed the requirements necessary to get into Harvard and become president of the Law Review. That’s before he ever ran for anything. And I wrote a letter in support of him to my friends at Harvard, saying to them that I thought there was a genius that was going to be available and I certainly hoped they would treat him kindly…” (2)

What possible significance could all this have? We may never know, but Vernon Jarrett, back in 1979, thought that OPEC’s intention to fund black and minority education would have huge political ramifications. As Jarrett wrote:

“The question of financial aid from the Arabs could raise a few extremely interesting questions both inside and outside the black community. If such contributions are large and sustained, the money angle may become secondary to the sociology and politics of such an occurrence.” (1)

He was, of course, right.

As Jarrett suggests, any black institutions and presumably individuals who became beholden to Arab money might be expected to continue the trend of American “new black advocacy for a homeland for the Palestinians” and presumably for other Islamic and Arabic interests in the Middle East. For that reason, if for no other, the question of how President Obama’s college education was funded is of considerably more than academic interest.

DEARBORN HEIGHTS - A 27-year-old local Muslim woman is filing a lawsuit against the Dearborn Heights Police department for forcing her to remove her hijab when she was arrested and booked for a traffic misdemeanor offense on July 9, 2014. 

Malak Kazan said she was humiliated by the department’s policy, which required her to remove her scarf when she was detained for driving on a suspended license. 

As part of the booking process, Kazan was asked to remove her hihab for her mug shot. Kazan allegedly expressed concern about the policy to the police men on duty, claiming it was a violation of her religion. 

She allegedly asked for a female police officer, but was told they couldn’t provide her with one. After growing frustration, Kazan was able to speak to a supervisor, who told her that removing head wear was part of the department’s policy and that she needed to comply or she would be further detained. 

Local Attorney Amir Makled from the Law Office of Cyril C. Hall, is filing the case at the U.S. District Court this week. He is demanding the department change its policy and is also seeking both compensatory and punitive damages for his client.

Man With Axe Attacks DC Police Officer (Updated)

WASHINGTON -- D.C. Police are at a heightened state of alert after a man with an ax attacked an officer early Friday. 

The incident happened around 3 a.m. in the 3800 block of 13th Street in Northeast, several blocks east of the Catholic University campus. 

An officer in full uniform was in a police cruiser when he was ambushed, according to Officer Araz Alali, a D.C. police spokesman. 

The suspect swung an ax and shattered the cruiser's window. 

The officer got out of the vehicle and tried to apprehend the suspect. Alali said he was injured in the struggle, not by the ax, and was unable to stop the attacker. 

The officer was taken to the hospial, and was expected to be OK. 

"He's a little shaken up. But he's OK," the officer's former partner tells WTOP. Police are now looking for the suspect, who fled on foot westbound through the south alley of the 1200 block of Quincy Street NE toward 12th Street NE. 

A description of the suspect has not been released. The ax used in the ambush was recovered, and it is being processed. 

Alali said there does not appear to be a connection to last week's hatchet attack on a group of New York City officers, but said the department will cover all bases in the investigation.

No, there couldn't be any connection to any previous axe attacks against Police Officer on the Eastern Seaboard.

Specific to this attack, the Fifth District officer was on patrol when he noted a suspicious person and went to investigate the situation. The suspicious person avoided the officer by entering an alley. The officer then entered the alley in his marked car and was ambushed by the person with the axe. The axe shattered the window, but did not strike the officer. The officer gave chase and caught up with the suspect, but after a brief struggle, he was able to escape.

As of now we have a general lookout for a black male, 6′-1″ to 6′-2″ with a stocky build. We have several leads that we are following up on at this point, but the investigation continues.”

Police are investigating after a man reportedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a Long Island Rail Road train after brutally beheading a woman on Long Island Tuesday. 

Sources tell PIX11 a woman was found beheaded on Secatogue Avenue in Faramingdale, near the LIRR station. 

Nassau County police confirm the crime scene at Secatogue Avenue and that a person is dead on the LIRR tracks a short distance away. 

Police say it is a possible suicide, but will not confirm the deaths are connected.

I mean, what are you gonna say?

I'm sure there is no connection to "Terrorism."

Islam does not condone beheading.

If it is a Muslim who did this, he is not a Muslim.

We must be concerned about a backlash against the lovely moderate Muslims in our community ... etc. etc.

From the comments at CBS: Witness posting on another site says the man hit by the train did not decapitate the woman. He tried to intervene and was chased by the killer into the path of the train. The killer had a machete and was shouting in Arabic. He apparently fled the scene.

Gordon said when he left his apartment unit to go downstairs to assess the commotion, he first saw a trail of blood on the tile floor that continued down the stairs to the front door.

Jack Imperial, 41, of Queens, said about 7:50 p.m., he got into a cab at the Farmingdale train station and headed toward Secatogue Avenue, where he said the driver and Imperial saw a severed head on the right in the roadway and a decapitated woman's body on the left, on her back and fully clothed.

A night dispatcher at Yellow Cab in Farmingdale, just up the street from where the body was found, said at first his drivers "thought it was a Halloween prank. But after speaking with police, the drivers were told, 'Yes, it is real,' " said the dispatcher, who asked not to be identified.

At 1 a.m. Wednesday, police flood lamps lit up the night and several Nassau investigators continued to hunt for clues behind yellow crime scene tape. Curious residents had watched the police activity until about 12:30 a.m. when nearly everyone went back inside.
