How Islam Has Changed Over The Centuries

The only noticeable change in the 179 years since Mr. Adams penned these words has been a renewal of efforts by Islamacists to re-conquer non-Islamic societies. Apparently, these people are undeterred in their quest to establish a new caliphate; it is equally apparent today, much to the surprise of John Adams, were he still alive, that we do not intend to stop them.
