Fellow Infidel Mark Alexander, at A New Dark Age Is Dawning, notes that an informal poll, cited in the London Telegraph, indicates that 8 of 10 white British voters claim they will be abandoning the Labor Party, for the traditionally racist British National Party:
Margaret Hodge, the Minister of State for Employment, told this newspaper that eight out of ten white voters she canvassed in Barking and Dagenham admitted that they were considering voting for the BNP in the May local elections. It is a trend that has been noticed in several other working-class areas of Britain - and for which New Labour must take responsibility.
Nick Griffin, the BNP's Cambridge-educated leader, is no longer seen surrounded by a phalanx of tattooed thugs: he makes sure he is photographed in the company of smiling, unthreatening women. Griffin carefully crafts his message so that it sounds reasonable rather than racist.
The comments section of this post is well worth your time as well. However, I want to point out one particular comment from Mark Alexander himself:
I doubt that Western-style democracy and liberal ideals are going to be strong enough to stand up to the might of Islam. People today aren't cut from the same bolt of cloth as people were, for example, in the 1930's and 40's.
I'm sorry to have to say it, because I despise it every bit as much as you seem to, but it will probably take some form of 'tough' government to deal with the tyranny that is Islam. Western, liberal, democratic governments have grown weak and corrupted.
If the price of defending Western civilization is that we have to live through a period of very tough government, then so be it. The end justifies the means, as far as I am concerned. Sorry to sound so Machiavellian about it.
I think Mark ought to make no apologies. He is only telling as the truth of what is coming at us, if we do not change our ways, and quick.

The BNP are not the party to fight for freedom. While the press likes to tag them as far-right wing racists the truth is that they are very much a left-wing party. Their manifesto talks about redistributing wealth amongst other things.
What's needed in not another national socialist party to lead us though tough times (echoes of thirties Germany there) but leaders who recognise what the problem is.
When Blair makes a major speech and talks about how progressive the Koran is it's obvious that either he is lying through his teeth to appease the Muslim population or he has completely failed to understand what's before his eyes.
It's about time we stopped calling this a war on terror and instead referred to it as a war on jihad.
National Socialist wannabes the BNP are not the party I want in power in the UK thank you very much. It's bad enough that Blair has attacked the very foundations of our government and justice system; even more far-left state control is the last thing we need to combat the war against Western culture.
If only the Tory Party would get its act together all those Labour voters who are disillusioned with Blair would have somewhere to go.
