Equally she is not entitled legally to refuse without good reason, the exact same as a wife. But in the case that she does refuse, the relationship would naturally come to an end.

The hatred carried by the Muslim male is not suffered by just one group, sigh. I see this hate as the face of Muslim men who do not want any women to have equal rights in any regard. IMHO islamic culture, as backward as it is, is actually more stable and will be alive long after the west dies of old age since liberated western women now refuse to have children. BTW, by "backward" i mean "old", not inferior in any way, shape or form.
