I am generally mistrustful towards conspiracy theories. Mainly because most of them bend the truth and are not very intelligent to start with. Specifically the misapplication of the usually reliable cui bono rule on 9/11 has me in stitches. OF COURSE it gave Arabs and Muslims generally a bad name, but so do all the other countless felonies commited on a daily basis in the name of Islam, openly and admittedly, and neither Bush, the Mossad or "the Jews" generally are behind it. Arabs and their supporters are just dumb enough to expect that pulverizing a major Western landmark and 3000 innocent people in the process would ENDEAR them to the Western world and when –- surprise surprise –- that doesn't happen, it must be someone else's fault.
However, the usual pattern of just looking for the obvious as the truth does not seem to apply to the Valencia train wreck we discussed previously HERE, HERE and at this blog HERE.
But what IS the obvious?
The name of the driver was Joaquín Pardo. This good, responsible, serious-minded, unmarried 30-, 39-, 40-, 41-year old with the commonplace name comes from a family with railroad tradition and was placed at the railroad organisation of Valencia FGV by a temp agency, resp. was working for FGV since 2002 in various capacities, which he all filled satisfactorily, tenía mucha ilusión, had, according to the secretary of the Unión General de Trabajadores (UGT), Antonio Soler, great expectations, got a fortnight or six weeks, depending on who is asked, introduction to the skills of train driving, works in shifts, therefore his neighbours hardly ever see him, stirs the train into the worst underground train disaster in Spanish history, his body is subjected to a superficial autopsy and quickly buried.
Read the rest HERE and let me know whether I am hallucinating or not.

Editrix,
What do you think happened to all the references to the man's name at Google?
I think the strategy worked as planned and nobody is interested in the case anymore, thus the drop in hits.
Accident, cause unknown, case closed.
Buried in history along with the London oil refinery explosion, TWA 800, the jet that crashed in Long Island because it's wing fell off, Egypt Air, the recent Baltimore shooting, the recent Denver shooting, etc. etc. etc.
Something like that...
Frightening!
I could understand if you don't think those were all the result of terrorism, but I will tell you what all of those have in common with the train accident in Spain;
They were all declared to be "not the result of terrorism" within hours, before any real investigation had been done.
They were all declared to be "not the result of terrorism" within hours, before any real investigation had been done.
Exactly. And once that is established, any further investigation takes it from there.
And if an accident is clearly not the result of (established and organised) terrorism, like the guy ploughing into the fan mile in Berlin with his car Sunday week, any link to Islam is carefully hidden.
Which proves the intent behind all the smokescreening.
