Democrats: The New Antisemitism

As I have been been pointing out for months, the left -- the Democrats, have been moving closer to antisemitic, anti Israel positions. For the life of me I can not fathom how a Jew in America can vote the Democratic ticket. If I could, I'd bitch slap these counter dissonants.

Look at Wesley Clarke's latest remarks about US support for Israel. This is exactly what I was describing in my phone call with Rush (want to hear it? Download Rush.wav) at the Stand for Israel rally back in July.

Over at Vital Perspective;

Wesley Clark: U.S. Support for Israel in War on Hezbollah a 'Serious Mistake'

Thanks to an alert reader, we'd like to direct your attention to a speech that Retired U.S. Army Gen. Wesley Clark delivered at The University of Alabama on Friday. The former presidential candidate and current military analyst for Fox News had this to say about U.S. foreign policy and the Israeli war with Hezbollah:

There's a lot of demonstrations out there against the American government and its policies. We've made some serious, serious mistakes, the latest being - it's hard to pick the latest - but one of them, recently, was the one where we sided with the Israelis in that air campaign in Lebanon. And instead of stopping the bombing, we were cheerleading it. It hurt Israel, it hurt Lebanon, and it hurt us. It helped Iran.

This is some scary rhetoric that holds the possibility of serious implications for the U.S.-Israel relationship. We research his statements and found an August 1 interview where Clark said, "We don’t believe in reckless bombing. We believe in humanitarian assistance. We believe in ending quarrels by the peaceful settlement of disputes and we believe in the use of war only as a last resort." The two statements square up pretty well, so this wasn't an instance where Clark somehow 'misspoke'.

Don't forget, Soros came out and gave his blessings/backing to Clark recently..

and Soros paid for some of guilty terror lawyer Lynne Stewart's defense (not to mention his Nazi ties here.)

I wish someone could explain to me how Russ Feingold can NOT slap John Conyers, and James Moran in the face, every single time he sees them

And that is just for starters.
The people who would have fought the KKK 30 years ago have simply lost their way, and are now allied with counter anti racists in order to ultimately suppress the EXISTANCE of one of the world's tiniest and most suppressed religious minorities.

How jews can support the democrats while antisemitic racists run around leadership positions is something I will NEVER understand

If anyone hasn't seen it yet-- check out Concept Wizard's online presentation Pipeline of Hatred. (Actually, all of the things they do are excellent-- especially useful for explaining the situation in the Mid-east to someone who isn't too familiar with what's really going on there).

It not just us Jews that Democrats seem willing to sell out. After the Foley scandal, I felt there were strong undercurrents of homophobia in what the Democrats were saying. Admittedly, after the Christian Right started using the Foley scandal for blatant homophobia, the strong undercurrents didn't seem all that bad.

Still, the Democratic Party operatives leave me with the impression that they have no principles beyond the next sound bite. & please be aware that I not saying we should disregard every fact about the world to follow some stupid principle, because God or Human Rights told us to. I'm just saying the Democrats should at least have some decent values that can be revised as we learn new facts about the world.

I read with interest the link to the Santorum article. I have been so undecided on how to vote. Santorum has been good on some things and terrible on others. I think that the war with Islam, the environment, and defending America's borders against illegal immigration are the three most important issues. Santorum has done better than most the war with Islam. His record on illegal immigration is mixed but poor overall. He opposes the one thing that would actually work--fining the hell of people who hire the illegal immigrants. His environmental record is an abomination. I suppose I fine with him being Senator, but I ended up deciding to vote against Santorum because some people imagine that a man with his stance on abortion and gay people should be president. I know they aren't the most important issues, but I don't want anyone who thinks like he does on these issues to be President. Basically, I'm voting against him to sabotage his chances to run for President.

I despise Santorum's opponent. It's times like these when I wish None of the Above was a valid option.
