It's 550 Tons, no it's 15,000 (according the Russkis ...and much more likely IMHO)...WHO CARES?
Japan seems pissed off, and South Korea is calling for the 'strongest sanctions' (to what, starve the starving, impoverish the poor, set back those who don't even know there is a forward?), and even China (if the news can be believed) is pissed.
Big Deal
This will last until the moment plans start to be made and then no one will want to committ an act except to send mean letters written by Kofi.
Even Condi, now clearly co opted by the oatmeal swamp of the US State Dept where all points of view are treated as equal for negotiating purposes, has embarrassed herself with Abbas in Palestine and Hamas. Just wet your pants at a worldwide press conference, Condi, it would render you no more ridiculous and out of place than what you did last week.
So what is the american and (cough, laugh splutter) international plan for the "unacceptable" North Korean act?
Pulllleeeezeeeee !

I wake up to the radio this morning and the first thing I hear is Jack Jacobs who is a Medal of Honor winner for goddsake on the Don Imus show (in between the giggling and the plugs for Imus' wife's "green and clean" window spray) pontificating about how this could all have been avoided if we had just given North Korea food, money and "respect" but now, woe is us, it is too late and we can only hope that the Chinese will do something. Japan probably would do something if they had anything to do something with.
Would somebody please tell me which the hell way is back to Kansas?
I'm sure Ahmadhimmijerker is watching very closely and our only hope is that he will literally kill himself laughing.
If you folks will excuse me I have some dry food to buy. Be back later.
Albeit an unpopular move, the only thing left to do is for Bush to go to North Korea and meet KJI face to face and get talks started again.
Bush and Kim talking?
To accomplish what?
What would be the aim of such talks?
How could that aim be accomplished by talking?
If I could understand WHAT could be achieved, and how talking could achieve it, I'd be for it. Corleone's Dictum.
But even from an optimistic view, I can't IMAGINE what outcome is desireable frmo the USA's point of view, that could be achieved.
NK has already cheated on it's 1994 agreement just to get to this very day.
What would they regard as something to hold to? And what would hold them to it?
BTW, TVP keeps almost forever (just keep it dry). Visit your local health food store.
