Well, I suppose it had to happen, we now have Muslims crying foul over something that has not even happened, what is it this time, its the Olympics, our moon worshipping myopics are complaining that the timing of the Olympic Games in 2012 clashes with Ramadan and thus they will be disadvantaged because they have to fast in the daytime
Muslims' anger as London Olympics clash with Ramadan
"The 2012 London Olympics have been plunged into controversy by the discovery that the Games will clash with Ramadan, the most holy month in the Islamic calendar.
In 2012, Ramadan will take place from July 21 to August 20, while the Olympics run from July 27 to August 12."
If this event were to be in Paris in 2012 I very much doubt that there would have been a protest made by the Muslims in France, is it only in the UK that Muslims feel strong enough to make such a protest, well this could well be the case but it would appear that they are becoming sensitive to the mounting opposition to their activities.
Politicians have raised concerns about Muslim integration |
"There was "a constant theme of demonisation of the Muslim community", he told the BBC's Sunday programme.
Lord Ahmed said politicians and journalists were jumping on a bandwagon because "it is fashionable these days to have a go at the Muslims".
Lord Ahmed, what do you expect, the UK public is at last waking up to what Islam is and what it stands for and they do not like what they see, "fashion" has got nothing to do with this situation.
The Muslim community must be made aware that the UK is NOT Islamic soil and that they cannot run amok threatening our deaths and the destruction of our culture, Lord Ahmed refers to a "few Muslims" behaving in this way, it is always a few Muslims, in fact there have been so many "few Muslims" it must take in all of the Muslim population in the UK.
In the Mail on Sunday
Non-Muslim students at Islamic school forced to wear headscarves
The hijab: Non-Muslim girls attending an Islamic school will have no choice but to wear headscarves
The Madani High School in Leicester will be required by law to accept 10 per cent of its 600 pupils from a non-Muslim background.
But girls who are not Muslim will still have to abide by a rule insisting all female pupils cover their heads as part of the uniform."
This is clear victimisation, there is a huge difference between choosing to wear something and being forced to wear something.
I do not think there will be many, if any non muslims going to a muslim school anyway and I think this backs up my statement Our marriage is in crisis because I won't go with Darren to live in a Muslim country
"The wife of BBC News star Darren Jordon has revealed how his new job with Arab TV channel Al Jazeera has caused a crisis in their marriage - because she doesn't want to live in a Muslim country."
Also in the Mail on Sunday there is an article about the halal home, these homes are being built by Manchester's Methodist Housing association in compliance with strict Islamic protocols, yep its the toilets again, Facing away from mecca of course.
Now this got me thinking, dangerous I know but, what do people who LIVE in Mecca do? after all they cannot face away from it because they are in it, I know this is rather flippant but I have visions of people walking around in agony from voluntary retention of urine or severe constipation, a silly thought I know but what the hell its a possibility.original post on Up Pompeii

A prime example of what happens when Britain allows these schools to exist within her border. I blame the government.
I wonder if there is a fatwa explaining the degree to which your ass has to face away from Mecca when taking a dump. You know, does it have to be more than 10 degrees? Or, 20 degrees?
Has anyone consulted the Ayatollah Khomeini's book on this?
Steve,
you are correct to a degree, alas the UK public has a lot to answer for with this situation
Pastorious, the mind absolutely boggles
hopefully the fatwa, if any will dictate a 360 degree rotation
If this is really such a big deal to Muslims, then why didn't they complain when the Winter Olympics in 1994 and Summer Olympics in 1980 Olympics fell during Ramadan? Muslim nations participated in both Olympics, and yet my search through the news databases hasn't come up with any articles where Muslims made a stink about the Olympics/Ramadan conflict.
Jews and Christians routinely have to choose between religion and the Olympics (events are often held on Saturday and Sunday and the Summer Olympics sometimes fall during the time Jews are observing Tisha b'Av and the Three Weeks) why should Muslims be any different? Because if we don't comply the extremists amoung them will blow us up?!
Lord Ahmed isn't quite the moderate Muslim he now appears to be. He was once a fatwa facilitator:

Fern - I've ben wondering the same thing. We're seeing a very large increase in Mulsim offenses over the last couple of years. Perhaps it's their peceived weakness of the West and our confusion brought on by PC and multiculturalism that is emboldening them to push further and further.
Do they smell blood in the water?
WC, I think they know that people are paying attention now, definitely. That they are triggering a possible horrific backlash, I doubt.
By picking an event this far in the future, isn't this just carte blanche to freak out for years to come? This is going to get funny before it gets ugly, I think.
I thought I left that comment earlier, but it's not here now....odd...another strike of "The Thinking Brother"? For those still interested, that sad excuse for a brain is still commenting his little "thinking" butt off at my place and at his. ROFL....a prime example of this idiocy, but in "Blogger comment" form. BTW, we're all racists, but afraid to face down a BLACK MUSLIM. Yeah, that's it.
