Past Nazi propaganda & today's Islamic propaganda compared: Then And Now, Parts I & II (Videos)

"Patriotic Kiwi", the executive producer, describes Part I:

In September 2005, Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten published a series of cartoons about Prophet Mohammed. This event lead to violent protests by Muslims worldwide in February 2006. The embassies of Denmark and Norway were torched. 139 people were killed in Nigeria, Libya, Pakistan and Afghanistan. The rioters justified their acts claiming the publication of the cartoons was a grave insult to their religion. Muslim countries called for limitations to the Freedom of the Press in the West to avoid offending their sensitivities.

But seldom is the question asked: Is the Islamic press itself free from bigotry?

In this video, we explore the similarities between the cartoons published in the Islamic world, and those published during the Nazi era.
These two videos have been around for a while but there is a renewed public interest in this topic. Then And Now Part II: ''Child abuse in the shadow of radical Islam'', as well as links to several other important related articles and videos, may be seen Here.

What a great post, Krishna. Thanks for putting that up here.

krishna - Part II was tampered with because it would work fine until about 45 seconds into it - then it would go nuts and rapidly forward and reverse endlessly. When I tried to go view it directly at YouTube's site, it says the video is no longer available. If you can, post it again and let us know where we can find it.
It is very well done and I will certainly pass it around.

Whatever the problem was apparently its now fixed. I just watched a little over the first two minutes on both my site and on Youtube-- both were OK

Btw YouTube lists the producer of the video as ''kiwiexpat81 ''. I believe this is the same person who posts on Little Green Footballs as ''Patriotic Kiwi''-- so if there's ever a problem again with the video it might be a good idea to post something there.

But-- for now it seems to be working OK.

Pastorius- As you know I had been blogging a lot... but it became overwhelming and I stopped entirely for a long time.

I have decided to get back to blogging but less frequently.

I was thinking of the best way to do that and decided that I would no longer try to cover all of the major news stories. Instead I will shift the focus-- do more background pieces...not necessarily current things but rather things that are good resources [such as these videos-- which are not new-- but are really good resources. The 2 videos-- plus the other linked items o those two posts-- are really useful.

This may be a good solution for longtime bloggers who are feeling overwhelmed-- doing a few in depth background items rather than several daily posts that attempt to cover all or most current major stories.

And of course there are other bloggers who will do just that.

Yeah, hopefully more people will do such posts.
