From Seattle School District Wants Teachers To Bless Muslims During Ramadan: "The district is running roughshod over the First Amendment’s mandate..."(May 7, 2019):

A school district in Seattle has sent out a letter asking teachers to bless its Muslim students in Arabic during the month of Ramadan and give them preferential treatment, such as obtaining dispensations for classes and exams...

In response to the letter, the religious liberty legal defense group Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund (FCDF), has threatened the Dieringer School District with a potential lawsuit for violating the conscience of its employees. FCDF alleges that the district followed edicts put forward by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) that advises schools to accommodate Muslim students by wishing them "Ramadan Mubarak" (Happy Ramadan) or "Ramadan Kareem" (Have a generous Ramadan). The edicts also instruct teachers to respect the fast by not scheduling any tests during the holidays of Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha....

This is not the first time this Muslim student has threatened the children. He brings his cell phone to school and points it at the other children while it makes gun noises.

To top it all off, this was the principal's reaction:

Principal Michael Dunn said the bomb threat “was not something the boy could get suspended for because you can find that phrase all over the internet so he feels like it is a boy just being a boy.”

That's the ticket! Muslims doing what they do is nothing to worry about. Just boys being boys and their disruptions will be tolerated.

Placemat propaganda

Harvard administrators are crimson-faced over a misguided effort to get students ready for the holidays by handing out pointers to help them debate tuition-paying grownups who don’t know a micro-aggression from mistletoe.

The venerable school’s Office for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and the Freshman Dean’s Office printed up and handed out laminated placemats described as "[guides] for holiday discussions on race and justice with loved ones." The table-setting talking points are designed to help SAT-crushing Ivy Leaguers put pesky parents, aunts and uncles in their place on such subjects as race, diversity and even the Syrian refugee crisis.

 

“Why are black students complaining? Shouldn’t they be happy to be in college?” reads one question anticipated on the “Holiday Placemat for Social Justice.” The proper response, according to the Cambridge braintrust, is to respond by saying, “When I hear students expressing their experiences on campus I don’t hear complaining.”

In the center of the placemats, which are in school dining halls, are “tips for talking to families,” with helpful recommendations such as “Listen mindfully,” and “Breathe.”

Eighty people hold the same amount of wealth as the world’s 3.6 billion poorest people, according to an analysis just released from Oxfam. 

The report from the global anti-poverty organization finds that since 2009, the wealth of those 80 richest has doubled in nominal terms — while the wealth of the poorest 50 percent of the world’s population has fallen. 

To see how much wealth the richest 1 percent and the poorest 50 percent hold, Oxfam used research from Credit Suisse, a Swiss financial services company, and Forbes’s annual billionaires list. 

Oxfam then looked at how many of the world’s richest people would need to pool their resources to have as much wealth as the poorest 50 percent — and as of March 2014, it was just 80 people. 

Four years earlier, 388 billionaires together held as much wealth as the poorest 50 percent of the world. 

Thirty-five of the 80 richest people in the world are U.S. citizens, with combined wealth of $941 billion in 2014. 

Together in second place are Germany and Russia, with seven mega-rich individuals apiece.

Obama DOJ Orders Schools To Let Boys Shower With Girls

Yes, that's right. It is now the law of the land that little girls have to look at little boys penises in co-ed gyms.

The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights has ordered a taxpayer-funded school district in the suburbs of Chicago to allow a male transgender student who dresses like a girl and otherwise identifies as female to use the girls locker room and shower on school premises. 

The feds delivered the edict against Township High School District 211 in Palatine, Ill. on Monday, the Chicago Tribune reports. The Department of Education has given the school district one month to let the student use the girls locker room. If the district does not capitulate, it risks losing federal funding. The Department of Education’s civil rights division made its Title IX ruling after a two-year investigation using a “preponderance of evidence” standard. President Barack Obama’s Department of Education — which manifestly is not vested with judicial powers — has taken to applying Title IX, a comprehensive 1972 federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex, to transgender cases.

When young boys take pictures of themselves engaged in sex acts with young girls, and then post these pictures or videos on Instagram, they can be prosecuted for distribution of Child Pornography.

Given that such a charge is possible, does this new DOJ ruling mean that Obama has legalized Pedophiliac behavior in the United States?

If a boy (who is supposedly a girl) turns 18 while he is in High School, will he still be allowed to shower with underage girls?

Fuck Obama.

And fuck all those who ridiculed the concept of a slippery slope.

It sounds tame enough, so why then are (some) parents alarmed about a Common Core-Islam connection? Culturist Policy Article # 6 - Culturist Education

Culturist Education Defined

Culturist education is traditional education.  It tells students that the West is the best.  As such, it aims to unify the West via instilling pride.  

Multicultural education teaches an anti-western narrative. As such it seeks to instill anger at the West and foments division.

Multiculturalism and ‘Social Justice’

Multiculturalism is worse than it sounds.  It does not only seek to celebrate cultures.  It includes a nefarious Marxist ‘social justice’ agenda. 

The term “social justice” implies that an injustice has occurred against social groups.  In short, multiculturalism promotes the idea that whites and the West been unjust to ‘people of color.’

Multiculturalism thereby pushes an entire anti-Western narrative wherein it is noble to resent and struggle against western nations.    

Culturist Achievement Gaps

When multiculturalists see educational and economic achievement gaps, they immediately announce that it proves western nations are racist.  They use it to further their anti-western narrative.

Culturists take cultural diversity seriously.  Culturists know that achievement gaps show that some cultures value education more than others.  Rather than showing that the West is racist, achievement gaps show that cultural diversity is real.

Culturist educators would ask ethnic groups to use their shortcomings to reflect on the cost of their values and behaviors.

Multiculturalism and Cultural Relativity

Multiculturalism is subtly destructive by announcing that all cultures are equally worthy of praise. Its celebrating all cultures implies that western culture has no particular merit. 

Via Socrates and Jesus, the West invented valuing the individual.  This history allowed the West to invent democracy and free inquiry.  Western culture’s resulting social structures and technology have built the entire modern world.

Mexico has invented nothing. Islam suppresses free speech.  Multiculturalisms’ refusal to make cultural judgment undermines pride in the West.

First, I have found one source that connects Common Core Initiative Standards (CCIS) to “Connect All Schools,” and that is on the “Connect All Schools” website page titled One World Education (OWE). Second, our Department of Defense (DOD) has partnered with the Connect All Schools program. Connect All Schools is connected to Vartan Gregorian. Gregorian is connected to Barack Obama in numerous ways, including as a member of the White House Fellowship Commission. Gregorian was born in Tabriz, Iran to Armenian parents. He came to the U.S. in 1956 to study at Stanford. He became a naturalized American citizen in about 1979. He graduated Stanford University, is currently the president of Carnegie Corporation and is a former president of Brown University in Rhode Island. Pertinent to this article is his seat on the board of The Qatar Foundation International (QFI).
About one year ago, Qatar dedicated a new mosque. The event was widely seen as the initial steps to reviving their Wahhabi heritage. You should be concerned about Qatar’s influence in American education. Wahhabi-ists have one goal and that is the spread of Islam worldwide.

The Qatar Foundation International, or QFI, in 2011 partnered with the Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to facilitate matchmaking between classrooms in the U.S. and international schools through something called the “Connect All Schools” project.

QFI, funded by the Qatari government, explains on its website the initiative was founded in response to Obama’s call in his June 2009 speech to the Arab world in Cairo, Egypt, to “create a new online network, so a young person in Kansas can communicate instantly with a young person in Cairo.”

QFI relates how more than 100 U.S. schools and organizations have already connected on the interactive website.

The stated goal of the initiative is to “connect every school in the U.S. with the world by 2016."...

WND reported last May the Qatar-based foundation awarded “Curriculum Grants” to seven U.S. schools and language organizations to “develop comprehensive and innovative curricula and teaching materials to be used in any Arabic language classroom.”

QFI, based in Washington, D.C., is the U.S. branch of the Qatar Foundation, founded in 1995 by Qatar’s ruling emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

Thani is still the group’s vice-chairman, while one of his three wives, Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, chairs the organization’s board. ....

Qatar is skyping with your children across the U.S.

In January 2012, it [QFI] launched the Research Center for Islamic Legislation and Ethics under the guidance of Tariq Ramadan, who serves as the center’s director.

Ramadan is the grandson of the notorious founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hassan al Banna. Ramadan was banned from the U.S. until 2010 when the Obama administration issued him a visa to give a lecture at a New York school.

QFI, meanwhile, named several institutions after Yusuf al-Qaradawi, one of the top leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood. Many regard Qaradawi as the de facto spiritual leader of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood.

The foundation instituted the Sheikh Yusuf Al Qaradawi Scholarships and in 2009 established a research center named the Qaradawi Center for Islamic Moderation and Renewal…

Gregorian also serves on the board of Human Rights Watch which issued the appalling Goldstone Report accusing Israel of war crimes.

Tariq Ramadan, the grandson of the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood is mentioned above and as a reminder is the head of the fairly new QFI Research Center for Islamic Legislation and Ethics (Islamic “legislation” where?) Two months later the Bush State Department revoked the visa on grounds of terrorist ties under the “ideological exclusion provision” of the Patriot Act. The university attempted to help Ramadan regain his visa with no success. Ramadan resigned the position in December 2004…

Arizona receives $465,000 grant from the Qatar Foundation International (QFI)?
According to Tucson News Now, the governing board of the Tucson Unified School District asked the school board to accept a $465,000 curriculum grant from the Qatar Foundation International, a global philanthropic organization with strong ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, the parent organization of the terrorist group Hamas, and behind much of the unrest in the Middle East.

The Muslim Brotherhood has been associated with Islam-biased K-12 textbooks identified by Citizens for National Security(CFNS) and Act for America. The textbooks in the CFNS study contained pro-Islamic misinformation, and material that provided negative misinformation about Israel, Judaism, and Christianity. The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), also connected to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood has targeted American schools and other public institutions for indoctrination…

The grant money is intended to implement “innovative curricula and teaching materials to be used in any Arabic language classroom,” reports the Arizona Daily Independent.Two Tucson schools, Safford K-8 Magnet School and Cholla High Magnet School, will be the recipients of the terror-infested cash, according toTucson News Now.

About 100 students at Cholla High Magnet School are learning Arabic. At Safford K-8 Magnet School, 125 students are learning the language.

Last year’s grant for Arabic language from the Qatar Foundation was $55,000.

A handful of similar programs funded by the Qatar charity exist in other American cities. In 2012, for example, the nonprofit provided $250,000 for a three-year pilot project for Arabic language at P.S. 368 in Harlem, reports DNA info New York.Source

“This is important because in the near future, Arabic is going to be a global language,” Mamdouh added.

Student A decided to help her classmate Student B. Both students, graduates from high school last June, attend a community college, the credits from which are accepted at all universities in the state of Virginia. Student A and Student B are enrolled in a precalculus course.

Upon helping Student B for a few minutes, Student A discerned that Student B's mathematics skills were woefully inadequate for embarking upon a study of precalculus.

Student A (frowning with dismay): What math courses did you take in high school?

Student B (cheerfully): I had a hard time with Algebra I.  Next, I tried Algebra II, but I failed.  I took a class in function and did okay with that.  I'm taking calculus now because I heard that calculus was easier.

A few weeks later, the day of the midterm exam...

Student B (euphorically): I'm going to get an A on this exam.  My fourth grade sister tutored me over the weekend.

A community-college adviser's signature was necessary for each student's admission to classes, and many courses have prerequisites.  Nevertheless, the precalculus class in which Student A and Student B are enrolled contains many students clearly incompetent to undertake the study of mathematics at that level — nearly half the class mired in this predicament.  Concepts which stump the students include exponents (what they are called and how to work with them) and substituting a value for a variable.

The professor, seasoned but not close to retirement, is at a loss as to what to do.  If he fails half the class, he likely loses his job and all benefits connected thereto.  If he doesn't fulfill the requirements for the course, none of the students in the class will have the tools they need for their later studies in mathematics.

Thus we see the state of American education today.

9/11 In My Classroom

On September 10 in my American Government/Current Events class, I presented a very effective lesson on 9/11. I made the day “come alive” for my students and the parents who were sitting in on the class. Not a dry eye in the room by the time I was done.

I personalized the lesson with details that my students will never read in history books: the days-long chirping of those cell phones at Ground Zero, the very small body parts, the pink mist in the air, the several hours I spent as I awaited word of the fate of one of my friends in the Pentagon (He, a wonderful man with several kids and a disabled wife, was called out of the building, out of the very room that was destroyed, a few minutes before the plane struck), the children who perished in the day care center at the Pentagon, tales of recovery personnel and what they went through in those weeks following 9/11, the anthrax attacks (the devil in the mail box), the many lost freedoms and the many resulting inconveniences, how this generation will never be as free as my generation, the travesty of the Flight 93 Memorial, and more — including the whitewash of Islam and my anger at today’s dhimmitude and political correctness.

I spoke without notes.

I spoke from the heart.

Florida Rep Outraged Over World History Textbook That Praises Islam and Denigrates Christianity

A world history book used in an Advanced Placement class is under review by a Florida school board over allegations it favors Islam at the expense of Christianity and Judaism.

State Rep. Ritch Workman told Fox News the Prentice World History textbook rewrites Islamic history and presents a biased version of the Muslim faith.

“The book has a 36-page chapter on Islam but no chapters on Christianity or Judaism,” Workman said. “It’s remarkably one-sided.”

The textbook is being used in an Advanced Placement class in Brevard County schools. The book is on a state-approved list and has been used in the school system for the past three years without any complaints.

Workman said he received a copy of the book and he said it’s clear the authors “make a very obvious attempt not to insult Islam by reshaping history.”

“If you don’t see it from the eyes of a parent, kids are going to take this book as gospel and believe that Christians and Jews were murderous barbarians and thank God the Muslims came along and the world is great,” he said.

For example, Workman said a reference to Mohammed and his armies taking over Medina states, “people happily accepted Islam as their way of life.”

“It leaves out that tens of thousands of Jews and non-believers were massacred by Mohammed’s armies,” he said. “It’s a blatant deception.”

Find out exactly what is being taught in classrooms next week about the Boston jihadists. 

Ask a few questions.

I think that you might hear words such as the following:

“Poor Chechens! They’ve been so oppressed!"

"Chechens are freedom fighters who have been pushed so far that many are now extremists."

"We need to understand these people more. We need to sympathize with them."

"We all know Muslims.  What nice people they are!"

"Islam is not the problem and has nothing to do with what happened in Boston."

"Islam means peace."
