All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

Late Night Infidel - Cassandra Wilson
Love is Blindness
Love is blindness
I dont want to see
Wont you wrap the night
Around me
Take my heart
Love is blindness
In a parked car
In a crowded street
You see your love
Made complete
Thread is ripping
The knot is slipping
Love is blindness
Love is clockworks
And cold steel
Fingers to numb to feel
Squeeze the handle
Blow out the candle
Love is blindness
Love is blindness
I dont want to see
Wont you wrap the night
Around me
Oh my love
Blindness
A little death
Without mourning
No call
And no warning
Baby...a dangerous idea
That almost makes sense
Love is drowning
In a deep well
All the secrets
And no one to tell
Take the money
Honey
Blindness
Love is blindness
I dont want to see
Wont you wrap the night
Around me
Oh my love
Blindness.

EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT!
Belly of the Sun my favorite of hers.
I didn't know you were a fan of hers. She is one of my favorites.
My favorite album by her is Talking Miles.
By the way, when you listen to this song, notice how she pronounces each word in a way which fits the words meaning in the song. It's an extraordinary performance.
Oh God yeah I love this woman. Have most though not all of her albums. Traveling Miles was actually the album that introduced me to her.
I have one of hers set for this coming Tuesday night.
Cool. Can't wait to see what you picked.
